Calling all Sherpas
I have been trying for two days now on the recruiting forum to get on a fire team for 35 Prison of Elders. I openly and honestly admit that I have not defeated Skolas yet. I have a 34 warlock with ascended weapons, max gally and mic. The problem is, everyone wants someone with all the guns PLUS experience defeating the boss, so I get no love. I send out requests to join and I hear nothing but crickets. I'm not asking to be carried. I want to experience the fight like everyone else. I've watched the videos and I understand the devouring essence mechanics. So I'm putting it out here on this forum. Are there any kind guardian sherpas out there who will give me the opportunity to defeat Skolas? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.
Edited to add: thank you very much for the offers to help. I really appreciate it. I was able to complete the 35 arena tonight for the first time with a friend and a random. The boss fight went really well and we had no wipes. I'm stoked! That completed my moments of triumph and I got an elder cipher! Just after we finished, I was kicked with error codes and could not connect with destiny servers, I think maybe because of a bad lightning storm we are having here. Thank god I was able to complete the activity before being kicked! I am heartened by the offers to help. You guardians are the best. Cheers.

If you are on ps4 I can run it with you. Ive done it a few times on different classes and find the fight pretty fun (and not too difficult depending on skulls). Would rather play it with people who need to beat it than people who think its way more difficult and serious than it is anyway.

3 RepliesI don't wanna be the guy that points out wrong section all the time. But to keep from dropping to unseen territory, you would be better off in recruitment. There is too much complaining and random content on the destiny category, your post will continue to be lost. Good luck, I haven't done 35 PoE either otherwise I would offer help.
