EVERYONE WATCH THIS AND LIKE IT SO BUNGIE CAN SEE IT

Its is a tribute to a man named Joshua. Here is a a little backstory of his life. Joshua R. Stokell, 36, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on June 8, 2015, as a result of complications arising from his lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis. He was born, May 13, 1979 in New Port Richey, FL, the son of Judy Stokell-Bailey and Thomas W. Stokell. He split his youth between Sweetser, IN and the Asheville, NC area before moving to Charlotte to further his education. He attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he studied Cystic Fibrosis hoping to make a difference in the lives of other CF patients after earning his PhD in Microbiology in May of 2013. He was presently a Post- Doctoral Fellow at UNC-Charlotte continuing his research on Cystic Fibrosis. Joshua is survived by his parents Judy Stokell-Bailey and Thomas W. Stokell; his brothers Thomas W. Stokell Jr., Shawn McPheron, and Brian McPheron and his sisters Tracy Garrett and Christy L. Stokell. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Kendall and Hazel Poole, of Somerset, KY. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Bushra Khan of Charlotte, NC and his many close friends and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Joshua came into our lives and left his indelible mark on all of us. Everyone that knew Josh will carry with them a profound sense of gratitude for having been a part of his life. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the McEwen Funeral Service-Derita Chapel at 6300 Mallard Creek Rd., Charlotte, NC 28262. Visitation will be Thursday, June 11th, from 3pm-7pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a monetary contribution to help with Josh's final expenses. Checks can be made payable to ABGS with "Josh Memorial" as the memo. Checks can be mailed to: Department of Biological Sciences, 257, Attention: ABGS, Woodward Hall, UNC Charlotte, Charlotte, NC 28223. Hopefully you would add something for his passing.
