Is the SUROS weapon pack worth the TTK pre-order?
My personal opinion is that it won't be worth it. Bungie needs to fix the issues with the [b]old content[/b], before trying to get us to buy [b]new content[/b]. They need to address the problems this feedback community keeps bringing up, rather than shove The Taken King down our throats.
Leave your opinion in the comments below; Bungie needs to know what you think.
Edit: So after about 24 hours, options 1& 3 are very close...
But option 2 still leads at almost double the others. Hmm...

1 ReplyI had the vanguard armory as a day 1 player and it was a waste. Better guns dropped during game play. I expect the same to happen.

Activision is still trying to pull their bullshit by offering an incentive, for [b][u]foolish[/u][/b] day one players, to repurchase content they already own in order to acquire some timed exclusive weapons. It seems like this is Activision's work around for the three exclusive shaders, emotes, and class items that are apart of the collector's addition, but can now be bought separately for $20. Have they even provided you the option to pre-order the $40 version of TTK?

2 RepliesNot gonna convince me with that shit, I remember vanguard exclusive... those gun are so shit and this one will too. They better make a gun with a perk like "random bullet in the clip will freeze enemy in place for 10s and increase critical hit damage to freeze enemy"

Not worth it. Just early access to weapons worse then What you already have. Plus you will get them later with out having to pre order. Only good if you are new to destiny.

1 Replyall it is , is early access to weapons you may not use at all just like when Destiny launched last year the collectors/guardian editions had early access to the Vanguard and anyone who played day one will tell you by the time your Guardian was a high enough level to equip the vanguard weapons you had already picked up better ones elsewhere in the game.

At least people are being honest by not saying that they are not buying the Taken King. Most of us will. I probably will, but unless i get an extra $40 that i didn't have to work for, I'll be waiting for it to come out and see if it is worth it first.

It will likely be like the vanguard armory in base destiny. A brief hopping stone to real weapons.

Pre-order bonus items are cheesy and garbage. All veteran gamers know that. I can't believe people actually get lured in with those.

We know absolutely nothing about these guns or their stats, and chances are they will not tell us shit. It will not be worth it because they have to be "balanced" otherwise people will over use them in PvP, or ask for them in raids, and then all hell will break loose!!

IMO TTK will be real good. That's worth the preorder alone. Will the Suros pack thing be all awesome and stuffs....probably not. Cool emblem, but damn I am inundated with emblems...

If you plan to buy it anyway and have the $$$$ to pre-order, go for it and have some shiny new pre-order weapons and a cool emblem that others might not have..Lol Actually it would be hilarious if they were OP as hell and the peeps that didn't order would be out of luck until Jan at the earliest for a chance at em...:)))

Personally, I was gonna order the DLC at one point or another so now that I know this information I'll make sure to get the DLC sooner rather then later. However, its a bold move to hold weapons away in the game from people to incentivize pre-ordering. A bit… Nasty.

If you buy the taken king now or wait until september 15/16 to buy, and than u have to wait until 1/1/16

I like the taken king, and maybe there are some little pricing and small game issues, but nothing is perfect, and I think there will always be a lesser part of the community loudly speaking for more than they are against change.
