Let me start this by saying that I did search, to see if this topic was covered, but didn't find anything. So sorry if this is a repost/overally-asked-question or topic. Well, has a XBox 360 owner, I cannot pre-order any of the digital editions of The Taken King. This puts me in a pretty precarious situation. How so? Well, let me explain. I was planning on upgrading to a XBOX One around the first of October. I realize that when going to the One, I will have to purchase a full $60 version of TTK, since I am moving consoles. But this means that not only do I have to buy the $60 version then, I have to buy it now too, just so I can play TTK, for a month, on my 360. So, lets add this up... $60 for TTK for the 360, which contains all the DLC content that I have already purchased. $400 for the XBOX One in October, to upgrade to next-gen $60 for TTK, for moving to the XBOX ONE. So now I have purchased Destiny and the DLC's a grand total of three times. The total of this is $520, just so I can continue to play the game I love and move to next-gen. Here's my problem though. PS3 players can preorder the $40 Digtial Download of TTK, but 360 players cannot. What the fudge? Why block 360 players from any digital downloads of TTK? What have we done to Activision? So, here's my plan: Wait on playing TTK, unless something else happenes. Buy the ONE in October. Go to GameStop and buy a used Destiny disk and then bring over my DLC's, for free. Finally, order the Digital Download of TTK and finally get to play this game I love so much. Seems a bit crazy I have to do all that though. I am hoping this will save me around $50 - $70 bucks, depending how much a used copy of Destiny costs. [b]UPDATE[/b] ------------------------- I wanted to update this post, now that I have found answers to my questions and to keep other users from getting confused; like I was. The reason XBOX360 users cannot pre-order the digital versions is because XBOX Live on 360 never supported pre-orders. Also, if you purchase TTK on Day 1 (that would be Sept 15) you will still get access to the weapons pack, made available to everyone that pre-ordered TTK. So! We can but it, day 1, and still get everything.
