Problem : Destiny is a game where players co-operate and work together in a variety *cough* of strategic, elaborate or crazy missions with the main objective of repelling the darkness (lol jk we all just want the BEST AND BADASS GEAR).
But instead to get the gear we are forced to slaughter each other in an unbalanced PvP where players are unbalanced in skill, gear, and stats due to it's (respectfully) horrible design. Its a shared world shooter (pretty much an mmo) not a Call of Duty.
Solution: Add more and better ways in PvE to obtain the best gear equal to gear that may be found in events such ToO. PvE and co-operation should be the main focus and deserves expansion and attention. PvP is secondary.
Another quick idea is to rebelance Crucible in the best way instead of nerfing everyones weapons that they spent hundreds of hours or minutes working for so that they are useless in PvE - Give of an option of instead of the classic way of everyone using their current gear, make everyone use the exact same generic weapons and gear, and their inventory is temporarily replaced with an arrange of the exact same generic weapons like shotguns, sniper rifles etc. - Just a thought

I like the update except for TLW Range reducing , it has next to no nothing range anyway , completely useless across mini maps but will see

Fu.ck PvP, is the one thing that has ruined what was good in Destiny thanks to the bitches everything got nerf. Thanks to God Damned PvPers the game shape and mechanics have being tempered with and not to a good end.

Destiny has been PvE focused since release and PvP players finally get an end game activity that just so happens to be better than the prison and the community cries about it. PvP players need love too. Before HOW came out there was very little chance of getting good gear in crucible and no way to reach level cap. I know level doesn't matter in crucible but the point still stands. Of course PvP gets the most balance changes that affect the rest of the game, because no one complains if you kill an A.I. opponent too quickly. Unfortunately play styles for PvE players will have to change if they wanna keep using hand cannons, or they can change weapons to fit their play style.

I do not agree. But only because of one sentence. Pvp is not the future... Wrong. Its not the whole future, but pvp is a major part of every future in any shooter. But i agree with your solution. Gear should be earned in pve mostly since destiny has a pve focus. And once you have all the badass gear and pve becomes boring you will play pvp until theres new pve content. Thats the way destiny seemed to be intended for most players. But it doesnt work right now.

pvp is the problem with Destiny. pve is suffering because of the smallest group in destiny, the crybaby pvp community. pvp is ruining destiny. the history of this game is proof.

I feel like people pick the third option because of how i worded it
