I really hope someone from Bungie acknowledges this or even better replies to this, but anyway, here goes
I think it would be a good idea that at the Strike Pre-Launch Screen you guys add an option to apply any amount of the modifiers in the game to that particular Strike and each modifier added has it's own independent increase to the exp earned during said Strike.
For example:
Devils Lair
No Modifiers = 100% (Base Exp)
Light Switch = 110% [+10]
Juggler = 105% [+5%]
Brawler = 95% [-5%] (Small penalty as Brawler is purely advantageous)
Burns = 105% [+5%] (Not a high boost because it's a double edged sword)
Small Arms/Specialist = 95% [-5%] (Once again purely advantageous)
Trickle = 105% [+5%]
Exposure = 110% [+10%]
Light Switch, Exposure, Juggler, Arc Burn and Small Arms = 125% Exp Gains
This is all just an example, maybe the final numbers could be something slightly more.
In addition I think the amount of modifiers present should beneficially alter your chances for better rewards maybe having 8-10 modifiers present can up your chances for an exotic up to 1.5-3% per strike.
Hopefully the community gives this post a look and hopefully you guys at the studio can make this or something of the ilk a reality

I like this
-
Exposure should be +20% because it is the worst modifier
-
If they added arc burn etc it would be to easy in my opinion but I totally agree like the skulls in HALO
-
This was a feature that should have shipped with the game. I should have access to modifiers on all activities (story, strike, raid) thst increase XP and chances for gear drops. Its shameful the lack of control the player has in so much of this game.

I like this idea it would be very useful for maxing new weapons and armor since destiny is ever growing an we all need multiply load outs available at all times so that we can adjust accordingly. however I believe access to these modifiers should only be unlocked once a guardian has reach light level 30. This is to stop players who were way too lazy to make 3 guardians to begin with from "power leveling" multiply characters or friends considering the base game (lv 1-20) is very short, also I believe fraction rep should benifit from this however small that may be

Great idea dude! I prefer playing strike playlists over crucible so I think getting bonus XP/shaking up the strikes would be very cool.
-
Nice ideas but you should be able to choose and exposure would be a pain
-
I like the idea... But I think it may as well just be a playlist (32, 34?) that throws in random modifier rolls. That way you can just do a base exp boost percentage and whether they're perks or hinderances is totally random. The obvious downside to both these ideas is that a lot of people may start to leave right away upon seeing certain modifiers (e.g. Lightswitch) Good idea though!

While I do think this would be a cool idea I do have a few issues with it. 1) Will this apply to faction rep as well? 2) Will people who haven't chosen any options be able to join your game?

Great idea
