Stop. Think about it.
The Bungie Day challenge for the emblem is not meant to be difficult. It may be for some who may be technologically or financially challenged, but:
It's not about difficulty.
It's not about being among the game's best players
It's not about no-lifting the game down to nothing.
It's about spirit. It's about the spirit of the game and everything it has brought us, that Bungie has given to us and helped us achieve.
Destiny is meant to be a social game. These six-person Raids, the Vault of Glass, Crota's End, they're not about becoming more powerful or getting more loot. They're about bringing people together to enjoy the spirit of the game as a unit. Sure, they're challenging, but what's important is the time you spend together, making friends and being in their company.
You did this in Year One, and the emblem is far more than a declaration of "I'm the world's best Destiny player." It's a symbol of all the friends you made and the challenges you pushed through together.
I know this because in the time I've spent playing Destiny since launch day, I've made friends and built relationships that will last my entire life, and I have Bungie to thank for that. I'm proud to be a Year One player for that reason alone.
I will wear the emblem from the day the Taken King releases not as a symbol of what I achieved in the first year, but as a tribute to the friends I made and relationships I built thanks to Bungie and their game.

Try taking noobs through hard mode raids. That should up the difficulty.

Best I've read thank you. that's how I feel because without the help of my fellow guardians they nor I would have become the legends we are today, that's what so many others fail to realize.
-
I'm too poor for the challenges lol. Thanks Bungie. Appreciate the slap in the face lol
-
You want a challenge? Flawless raider while sherpa-ing 5 noobs.

Exactly. Point well proven. And if you don't have half the challenges done, that proves more to the point that the people who have played the game long enough deserve the emblem. Nobody knew that those specific challenges were the ones that you needed to earn a special reward, the players that have stayed, grinded out hours upon hours on the game for the fun of it. But also completing the challenges in a fun and successful manner. Therefore if you have the emblem, you've proven you earned it by having fun, doing difficult tasks and creating a great experience with others in the process. I'll be rocking the emblem until The Taking King as well. #Bungie
