If i get it... should i dump my praxic fire for it
-
Honestly I just got it because i loved the look of it.
-
Don't delete your praxic fire. But the Ram is basically what Juggernaut was in COD4 and COD5. It lets you survive things you wouldn't normally survive without it. And it has incredible synergy with both Warlock subclasses even though the Life Steal perk makes you think it would only be good on a Sunsinger.

Because nothing is sweeter than shrugging off a shoulder charge to turn on them and give em a matador in the mouth
-
For PVP I think flame shield is better than life steal.
-
With the ram and max armor build for a warlock you survive: -Shoulder charges -2 headshots with a thorn -Flux grenades -Razor's Edge from a blade dancer -Tripmines -Incendiary blade headshot -4 TLW body shots Generally.. It adds about 20 health, allowing you to tank a lot more than you should. Easily the best and most broken warlock exotic.
-
I got shoulder charged today in crucible wearing it. I then survived and shotgunned him because he hit me, then turned to face the doorway. The teabag lasted a LONG time on that one.
-
Yeah - I hit one with Found Verdict at point blank range and it didn't kill him. Almost, not quite. I was impressed.
-
Maybe? Ram's extra armor allows you to live through so many things, but if you use Radiant Skin instead of Fireborn to turn into a siege machine HotPF is probably better. Or, why not both? Wear Ram until super charged, then swap. (The above message is for PvP only. Please seek immediate medical attention if your Ram lasts more than 4 hours. Ask your doctor if The Ram is right for you.)
-
It's probably the best warlock exotic. Life drain on a sunsinger? Yeah that's pretty awsome.
-
Gives you more armor than a Titan
-
Increased Armour
-
Praxic is good....but ram is primarily a void walker piece. It can make you a tank. Mixed with a max str build you can make enemies explode in groups constantly and not be killed.
-
You get more shields when you self-ress and when revived by a teammate which is really good for trials. Honestly if you get an exotic you should just keep 1 of each because you never know what on will be useful in the future.
-
Because the ram + radiant skin + max armor stats = you can survive a golden gun shot, i love it when they shoot me and turn away thinking that i am dead, only for me to come up and slap them with my scorch for the kill, they always seem confused
-
Nooooooooo my lifes missiom is that helm...yo armor so stronnng doe
-
It's fun in PvE. Shotguns become your primary and just charge into things. When health is low just melee everything and repeat.
-
You can survive: Titan shoulder charge Any sticky grenade Two thorn headshots
-
I ran an armor build sunsinger with the Ram last night and it makes my Titan look like a wet paper bag.
-
When fully upgraded, it gives the wearer additional armor. That means you can take a bigger hit than you would normally be able to. It's pretty good for PvP, especially if you're a Voidwalker. If you're Sunsinging, HPF would be the better option. Obsidian Mind is still the better option for Voidwalker in PvE.
-
increased armor and infinite energy drain. its good for void walker while praxic fire is good for sunsinger
-
With ram you can survive two thorn head shots, shoulder charge, and the edge of an enemy super. On top of life steal on every melee hit.
-
Don't delete stuff if that's what dump means but it's good in PvP to protect you from thorn / sniper
-
It comes with a Hemi. Sorry, wrong RAM. You did say Ram, and not Ham, right?
-
People use it solely for the extra armor but it's also a must have for void walker.
-
You can also use it with Sunsinger.
