I'm serious. Has anyone from the development team taken the time to sit down and play the game for a weekend? Just on the off chance that you get around to it, make note of how the top guy, most of the time has a red bar. Everyone here knows this is true.
I don't think that I should be penalized for having a good, clean connection. Considering that Bungie went with a peer to peer model for PVP, wouldn't you want to promote a good Internet connection when playing the game? We are after all, your server infrastructure and the gateway to peoples in game experience.
I'm sincerely tired of halfway through the match the entire game starts lagging for everyone and the other team makes this amazing comeback. I'm tired of the network manipulation which is also promoted by the P2P infrastructure. Please, if you are going to put content behind this complete mess of a multiplayer mode, tune down the lag compensation, and start banning people who use network manipulation. DDOS attacks are not just annoying, they are a federal offense, and can destroy equipment.
I'm a huge fan of Bungie and I sincerely love this game but I can honestly say that I don't enjoy the crucible due to these issues. I don't think that it is completely impossible to make a change, and frankly I think it is on becoming that they have been ignored.
