Hi everyone,
As I have this game since day 1 I was wondering if it was worth buying all the DLCs. The main problem with this is that I played the whole game by myself and I'm level 32. So basically, I don't have any clan or team to play with and I'm not sure if this can influence the experience that I can find in the expansions.
So should I buy them anyway?

Not too sure why this thread has been downvoted to zero... But, as alot of folks are saying here, holding out for Taken King would be the most cost efficient option. As far as your question goes towards the social aspect of the game: Join a clan or find other players through LFG. I promise you Destiny is a much fuller experience when playing with others, and in the reality of non-matchmade endgame content, debatably mandatory. Here's the catch: If you do want to join a clan or play more socially, you may be expected to have your dlc up to date. Destiny is a progressive experience, both in character growth and new content. You should assume that other socially minded Destiny players are keeping up with DLC, and if you want to join them, know that they assume you are keeping up too. Clearly you enjoy this game to go as far as you have since it's launch, even without any dlc. Being on the fence about new content and doing activities with new people is totally understandable. At the end of the day, I guess you need to decide if Destiny is something worth investing into monetarily, because the majority of players who keep playing often will. Hope this helps.

If you can hold out I'd wait til the taken king comes out in september and rebuying the full version. Right now the season pass would run you 35, then the taken king another 40 in september (75). Wait and rebuy the entire thing for 60.

I thought it was worth

Why not

Unless you plan to continue paying for overpriced content I would just play a different game. You need to own both expansions to get TTK. If you're on the fence then make sure you're willing to pay more because you'll have to once the next expansion after TTK/Destiny 2 comes out.

No point of buying destiny if you're not gonna buy the dlc

What system are you on

If you have no one to play with them there is no point. All the end game requires teams.

If you have a physical copy, I would wait for The Legendary Edition, then gift your copy of the base game to a friend. That's one person to play with. In the meantime, give Destiny LFG a try. Maybe for Nightfall Strikes or 32 PoE (this will get you the rest of the way to 34). As you find players that you enjoy playing with, send friend requests.

Maybe not the dark below but HoW and the Taken King for sure.

Wait for the legendary edition :) You should find a clan though. It won't take as much work/ time as you'll get back later And you might make some solid friends too
