$70 are you absolutely kidding! For a DLC .. Can buy a new game for that.

Edited by Gogmazios: 7/5/2015 1:06:47 PMI'm from the US, and if Sony charged me $49131.52 USD for a PS4, I'd be absolutely infuriated. At current exchange rates, $70 AUD is over $52 USD, TTK costs $40 USD. Bungie seems to think 63 = 52 = 40.

You should see how much it is in noobzealand 5000 rocks....... 60 paper and 2 scissors
-
Edited by Cardinal Erebus: 7/6/2015 12:03:07 PMUpdate It's actually $99.95 now at EBgames and JB-HI-FI
You want TTK? pay $100

-
It's just the DLC at $69, the full games(s) is $110. And with this (after coming back to play 'Wolves') I again remove the disk. GTA and ESO here I come.
-
Reason is they're selling it as a full game - bit of a stretch if you ask me.

Edited by pachydermparade: 7/6/2015 7:53:56 AMDidn't they ban a couple hundred video games in Australia over the past year or something? Slim pickings, I'm not sure you could buy a new game at all lol http://www.polygon.com/2015/6/30/8872277/over-200-games-banned-in-australia-in-4-months-new-ratings-system-on

Since none of you know international trade laws... Stfu
-
Holy god! Bungie has explained that this has to do with international tariffs! Do you want them to go fight the UN itself just so you can pay a few dollars less?
-
-
Then don't buy it.
-
Edited by TNB719699: 7/5/2015 6:47:57 PMYou may as well buy a new game, one with an actual story.

Edited by sheyn86: 7/5/2015 8:16:09 PMBuy a new game

Let me explain why, Bungie wants money because they know people are going to stop playing it eventually since they are screwing up so badly instead of them spending time trying to fix those mistakes they are trying to charge us an arm and a leg for those dlc's.
-
same here in europe 71 euro
-
And $120 for the CE, we should all BBQ our discs on Bungie day in protest.......
-
Signed. I am from uk so am in the same boat. A horrid price structure set by an overly greedy publisher.
-
It better have ALOT of content for that price otherwise I'm not buying it (and I really love destiny)
-
Edited by AgrinningFish: 7/5/2015 4:22:36 PMFor us in the UK, there is a petition up for trying to get a reasonable price. It's for the UK only (which is a shame) but it might help the rest of the EU customers get a reasonable price, if something is done about it in the end. https://www.change.org/p/bungie-activision-price-destiny-fairly-in-the-uk (im not the person running this petition, just spreading the message) Unless they stop trying to extort us... myself, and many other's will not be giving them a penny.
-
Screw that!
-
In the UK it's £40 which is $63 dollars so we're paying a half extra on top then US gamers who are getting ripped off even at $40 dollars. $70 is absolutely disgusting, I hope trading standards get involved in this
-
Yeah they don't seem the know that just because you slap a different currency symbol in front of it doesn't make it the same amount. If that were true then migrant workers in china wouldn't have to slave every day just to make only a few dollars a month. Also, yay Australia! I gotta go there some day.
-
-
I agree they make more profit off us than the bloody Americans.
-
-
It's 70 for the whole game
