I actually am glad I got forced into the crucible
Got the thorn bounty on my hunter, and I've always been a piss-poor PVPer. HATED it. But I really wanted to finish this bounty.
I grinded (ground?) through over 300 void points SLOWLY and PAINFULLY, and with no void special, grenades, or primaries I was REALLY struggling to carry on. But carry on I did. And you know what? In the waning minutes of the crucible portion of that bounty, I accidentally enjoyed myself.
I complained for MONTHS about bungie forcing me into the crucible (yes, I had this bounty for months before buckling down and making a run at it). But the last 200 void points were so fast and enjoyable that now, I still play crucible. In fact, I've been playing iron banner for the first time ever this week.
So, for those of you struggling with this bounty for hatred of the crucible, stay with it! Hey, you may just end up liking it....

1 ReplyFor anyone else struggling still!! from start to finish was less then 4 hours to complete for me. What i did was get a void shotty and heavy machine gun and went into skirmish. This part still took a little longer but play defensively and it comes. For an idea some matches were a 15 to 20 kill streak once i got my heavy and usually still had ammo when next drop. Anyways thats how i did it good luck!
