Wow man thanks! Seriously thank you for inviting me over to you guys it's a pleasure☺ my name is Jason and way back exactly a year yesterday I posted a thread out to other dads asking how they would find the time to play this awesome game being that they have very limited time due to parental commitments, the response was far bigger than I had anticipated lol. The day after it was launched as a group and funnily enough when we reached the amount of members you guys have now that's when things changed. Deej came forward to us and asked us if we wanted to do a community focus to which we agreed and from there rhe little idea grew into something far bigger than I thought possible. Along the journey of this past year we've gone through alot of changes to structure, admins, focuses and directions but maintained our core beliefs which were detrimental to the groups reason for creation. Those three core values were family, work, destiny. Over the course of the past year though we were faced with alot of challenges and obsticles to overcome due to the numbers we were gaining, with that I think came various opportunities, and we had made quite a strong name for ourselves just through being generally cool dads. I never thought that a year ago I'd be speaking to playstation, mens health, kotaku, and game informer I still can't quite believe that as I'm just a dad who likes to play video games in his spare time with like minded people who don't want to be involved with how toxic some gaming communities have become. The biggest thing I've noticed being part of this group is no matter how many people keep joining the family and brotherhood feel of the group never changes and everyone is there for eachother to help each other through gaming or even in some cases real life. Being a part of a community that is like that is great as you always have people to turn to for advice, gaming help, or just to have a laugh with. Guys you are growing and the best advice I can give to you guys is stick together, help each other if you can, and never aim your sights too high. We did just that and it's amazed us where we are a year on. We are trying to break the mould when it comes to gaming communities and to do that all you need to do is look after eachother and other will see what you're doing and come join you to be a part of something that takes them away from the everyday groups. Guys I'm always here for anyone to talk to about anything and I will always have time for anyone ☺ like I said I'm just a gaming dad who wants to game in a mature community, and I think as gamers that's what we all want deep down. Can I just say thanks for allied agent asking me to come over, and also to you guys for having me too, and if you need me you know I'm never that far away. Wow i disappeared for a couple of weeks and our clan has reached 1000 members! Well done everyone! You all welcomed me with open arms and i cannot say thank you enough. Agent you have made a family that i am proud to be a part of and we are now getting the recognition we deserve. Thank you Kingpin for telling us your story and giving us advice that can only make us stronger. Being able to balance everything is only something i can only aspire to do!!

I have to admit I joined a clan for the Achements (sorry if I spelled that wrong) but when I got them I started hanging around them more and more and then got to love this clan. And they call me a hard ass because they jelly of my skillz

its still amazing to me how quickly things are going for us. next thing you know we will be the ones visiting other clans lol everyone in here is out for the same thing...to have fun and meet some awesome people while we do it. keep up the good work everyone chilly

It's humbling to be acknowledged as well as recognized by such stellar groups of like-minded gamers. I am also a father of two, soon to be 3 boys with a full time job and yet this is my little home away from home so to speak. I mentioned in the other thread that I'm not sure if I'd still be around if it wasn't for the community that I look forward to playing with each night. Not that I don't love the game because I very much do, but I've always been a competitive gamer and it doesn't seem that this game has much in the way of a focus on another level of competitiveness. Trials and Iron banner get close, but when you come from a background in Halo MLG and COD gamebattles/MLG, it doesn't quite equate. There isn't a person in this clan that I have run games with that I wouldn't buy a beer, Or apple juice(Lima)... and shoot the shlt with. I have always found my way into large groups of players in whatever gaming I have done, be it PC MMOs or console FPSs/RPGs, and I can honestly say that this community takes the cake. I look forward to being apart of and helping to grow this clan into what you have made yours King in the weeks, months and who knows maybe even years to come. Thank you greatly for taking time out of your day to come by and give your .02 to us lowly guardians! As Allied has already said, you will always have an ally in the Supreme Council!

Wow there r no words to say and not enough typing skills to do it there is no swype on my computer. The time is so hard to get in for dads its crazy sleep is not an option anymore i think i had to get up three times to say something to the kids to finish these two sentences. Im a father of 4 so a clan full of dads and how u guys have gone the distance is beyond me. That being said thank u so much for showing some love i think its great ur view on gaming and destiny is awesome congrats to ur community and hopefully we will see u guys at the top

Its very cool for thw clan to be getting recognition from some of the Big guys. I have only been here a short time, but you guys have made me feel so welcome. Everyone I have gotten the chance to game with has been very welcoming. I'm sure that's a big part of the clans success. Who would've know Kooder would know such awesome ppl ;) I look forward to gaming with more of you in the future.

This is why this game and community rocks. In game - players assist less skilled player or lower level players rank up, and here we are on a forum getting help for a 34 to level up our level 10. See what I did there ;)

Whoa this is big. I'm proud of all the clan members who make posts on the regular and for the ones who support and help them achieve it all. When I asked to join this council back in March I was literally new to the game. I had a 29 Titan with my suros and that was it. A few months later I'm blowing up all maxed classes and all the people I could ever need to help. I have gotten everything I've wanted out of this game and still do not get bored because of the conversations and teamwork that gets shown when we step on the battlefield. It's more than awesome to be recognized by the great clans! Thanks for all the support! We made it!

Wow allied you are certainly getting this clan recognised. I don't know where you find the time. This clan had 30ish members when I joined and now has over a thousand. Thanks to kingpin for coming on here to say hello. I joined the clan and I am nearly 40 with a full time job and 2 kids. It was allieds comments to early members that made me want to join. I have met some truly wicked people and players in this clan and it opened all the group activity areas I never really played. It's good to play when you can find the time and now there are always relaxed people to play with. Keep up the good work everyone and lets keep this clan getting bigger and catch up with the big boys!

Wow i was cheesin the whole time i read that thanks so much KingPin2 words like that not just give me but i think everyone motivation to get this clan even bigger and stronger. Super stoked that im able to play with the Supreme Council of Guardians and also call you guys my friends we have nothing but good times and when bullshit and drama arrises we take it down and handle the problems together... And finally big shout out to Allied for running this clan like the boss he is i cant believe you have gotten us this far and kept everything so organized cant wait to see whats going to happen in the future under your belt!!!

That's a hell of a lot of clans to manage, your support base (admins) must do a terrific job to keep it all cohesive and running smoothly. o_O
