Should I get this game? I hear theres only a choice of being a vampire or werewolf, sounds like twilight.

Dunmer stam DK 2hand/sword and shield stacked super high weapon damage and weapon crit 53%, 1 level away from vet 14.. currently 1 shotting everything in the last zone of story. I focus all my stam on dps/utility and my magic is solely my damage shield which also gives me healing boost and my big heal. In pvp I let people think I am a tank until they've expended their resources and then go in for mass spike dps w my 2hand mace execute

Stamina nightblade is the best!!

Anybody got any advice for a high Elve sorcerer?

Pretty sure DKs were already nerfed awhile back. Highly doubt it will happen again. That being said i am a DK redguard 75/35 split between Stamina/majicka. I focus on stamina mainly bc im the tank in group. Use my 2h axe and rely on my majicka perks for health. Also mainback up is resto staff bc yoy can never have enough health lol. It's such a fun class. My group mates all went with nightblade mostly, and some regret making that choice but some enjoy the "stealthy" aspects of it if you will. Plus they aren't really into pvp. So...

Coming from a Nightblade, Dragonknight is only good because it can heal itself. It's damage output is underwhelming. Templar has the highest dps if used correctly.
-
Imperial Dragon Knight here, only because I can pretend to be Scorpion from MK.

As the "rogue" class, Nightblade isnt very strong. Theres not alot of Burst damage in it, alot of useless passives, etc, if youre looking for a skyrim type of stealthy gameplay or even something relative to DA:I rogues this aint it. It has some DOT moves and alot of builds are solid but dont feel like a rogue should. Theres not many skills so when you have alot of non-useful ones its quite odd. Even as a archer the only real type of arch moves are snipe (charged shot that deals semi high damage) and bombard which shoots a flurry of arrows hitting multiple targets. Besides that you have stuff like poison arrows and some buffs/debuffs. Theres a siphoning skill tree that seems like something out of a wizard tree. Also requires alot of magicka. Passives arent too great. Dragon knights have a load of useful skills and especially passives. Im dissapointed with nightblades, if you want to be strong, DK or sorc, if you want to be useful be a templar. If you want to just be there, nightblade. If you really want a class using daggers or bows you can use dragon knight to be a tanky dagger master or templar and be a healer who can do some good damage at range. Thinks that make rogues, rogues like critical strike increases or critical damage multipliers arent really in the NB skill lines so you dont really need them. Only the assassin skill tree has a passive for those two. But its not like itll make a gigantic difference. Of course NB keyboard warriors will disagree but as a VR14 NB Archer (and VR2 NB Archer on ps4) i dont enjoy it as much as i did in other games. But i just have to be a rogue. its my thing. The bow tree has the best passives and you can still get em as a dragon knight/templar etc. Just one mans thoughts though.

I'm doing pretty well with my nord Templar. I use heavy armor, a 2 handed weapon, and a resto staff. I put most points in magicka, and focused on the spear and healing abilities. With my two hander I use all the spear abilities with magicka morphs, and one 2hander ability charge. The combination of throwing the spear knocking someone back and then charging in with my 2h has been working out well. Especially since both of those abilities have morphs that significantly increase damage based on distance. My backup is my resto staff, which I use for my healing ability bar. I have the heavy armor ability as a self buff for tanking and a self heal. The rest of the abilities are healing and buffing abilities for when I want to play support. Combined with all the passives for the nord class, heavy armor, two handers, healing, and spear abilities, it's been a pretty solid class build so far. I'm only level 22 though so idk how it will play out later.

lol so many Dragonknight lovers. They see OP or insane DPS builds and think there the best but realy, Nightblades kick there ass at burst damage and Nightblade AND Sorceres at ranged. Dragonknights have realy good survivability the rest will get nerfed. Templars and Sorcs are the best for PvE, Nightblades are just Nightblades, Dragonknights are gonna get there whole DK inferno mage nerfed to oblivion

I play a Vampire Dark Elf Templar, Heavy Armor Two-Handed/Dual Wield. Loving it. Handles crowds of enemies really well.
-
DragonNight is so op in pvp it's getting nerfed but I'm a nightblade guy
-
I love being stealthy and quick, so I'd say Nightblade. But it all depends on your play style.
-
I'm playing A dark elf Dragonknight . Can't go wrong with any class though.
-
For all round gameplay probably the Templar. At lvl 15 you can switch out between healer and tank so it makes it a pretty well rounded character.
-
I have an imperial Templar with bow as main so far loving it due to kiting and healing abilities plus high dps
-
Pvp is definitely dragon knight but pve can be done best with any class to fit your play style, depends on your weapon choice as well
