I'm still not 100% sure how the XB1 compatibility works.
Can you download a game by entering a disk, then give your disk to someone else to do the same?
Or does it register that the disk has already been used and downloaded or reached a limit?
Because if the first is the case, anyone could just trade games or even start a local redbox of renting to download.
But the second would be horrible for buying used games.

Edited by thefourfoldroot: 6/19/2015 4:57:08 PMIt just lets you download a digital copy when you put the disc in. The disc must remain in the console for the digital copy to work. You can lend it to you friend, but because a disc must always be in the machine, only one of you can play it(just like if you lent the actual disc) A word of caution. MS announced they are releasing all compatible games digitally for s price anyway, so it would likely be cheaper to do this rather than buying second hand, and the developers then get some money.

same way games work now. you put in the disc, the game installs. when you want to play the game you insert the disc.
