So, I stumbled across this video from a guy called KackisHD about the Thorn on YouTube: [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jP8USz7atmw[/url] Now, this guy pretty much hit the nail on the head. I agree with just about everything he said about Thorn and the few weapons that can compete with it. I especially like the idea of Bungie buffing the other weapons in the game to compensate, rather than just taking the easy route and nerfing the Thorn alone. If Bungie were to nerf Thorn, another weapon will take it's place... that's exactly what happened when the nerfed auto-rifle; before, SUROS Regime was the most heavily abused weapon in the Crucible, and when they nerfed it, Thorn took it's place. Personally, I do not use Thorn very often in the Crucible; my favorite weapon for PvP is easily Red Death, and prior to the plague of Thorn abuse that followed Trials of Osiris, I would even use unpopular or underpowered weapons like Hard Light. Hard Light is a pretty good example of a gun that could be buffed to compete with Thorn; auto-rifles in general need a buff, but Hard Light needs it more than most. Post your thoughts.
