Exotic Weapon Ideas

Haley's Rocket (Arc Rocket Launcher) Flavor Text: "She can only be seen about once every generation, but each time it's just as spectacular" Appearance: The launcher is light blue with a decal of a comet along the entire weapon. Rockets fired from this weapon leave a trail of cosmic dust. Stats: Extremely low fire rate, maxed blast radius, high velocity, low stability and extremely low reload speed. 1 round mag. Exotic Perk; Impact Destination: Doubles blast radius and creates a temporary overshield to the user that lasts for 3 seconds. Singularity (Void Rocket Launcher) Flavor Text: "Some say that when a Master Voidwalker's Light fades, this weapon can be found amongst the remains." Appearance: The whole weapon appears to be a looking glass into the void of space. Stars and planets can be seen as "decals", but shift when the player moves. Stats: High fire rate, low blast radius, decent velocity, high stability and mediocre reload speed. 2 round mag. Exotic Perk; Black Hole: Pulls enemies in before detonating. (has no effect on strike bosses) Gambit (Auto Rifle) Flavor Text: "The best players usually bluff to earn their win, it's too bad I'm not bluffing." Appearance: Looks somewhat like a standard AK-47, but has decals of spades, hearts, clubs and diamonds on it. It also looks old and worn out, like it's been through many battles. Stats: Mediocre fire rate, mediocre impact, decent range, low stability and high reload speed. 30 round mag. Exotic Perk; All In and High Roller (Only one can be chosen at a time.) All In: The damage this weapon can do has been dramatically increased, but stability has been reduced and this weapon will not reload until the magazine has been emptied. High Roller: Kills with this weapon speed up all cooldowns. Boneyard (Void Sniper Rifle) Flavor Text: “Even the dead like to dance.” Appearance: Hive themed, similar to Black Hammer, but the entire weapon is made of sleek black metal. Like a cross between Black Hammer and Thorn. Stats: Slow fire rate, high impact, decent range, high stability and low reload speed. 3 round mag. Exotic Perk; Symphony of Screams: Precision kills with this weapon cause the target to explode and spawn up to 3 Axion Darts (the same ones that Hive Tombships fire, complete with the screeching) that aggressively seek out victims. Peregrine Falcon (Solar Machine Gun) Flavor Text: “Hooah!” Appearance: Modeled after your typical gatling gun. It's also a Metal Slug reference. Stats: Decent fire rate, high impact, mediocre range, extremely low stability, and mediocre reload speed. 150 round mag. Exotic Perk; No Reserve and Metal Snail. No Reserve (comes standard): This weapon has a large clip, but no reserve ammo. Metal Snail: Rounds can penetrate targets, but you move much slower. Yin & Yang (Dual Hand Cannons) Flavor Text: “They even finish each others sentences!” Appearance: Old fashion Smith & Wessons. One has a black handle with the Yang symbol and the other has a white handle with a Yin symbol. Stats: Mediocre fire rate, decent impact, mediocre range, low stability and decent reload speed. 12 round clip, 6 for each gun. Has Zen Moment Perk. Exotic Perk; Harmony: If one gun kills an enemy the other gains a temporary damage boost. Retribution (Arc Shotgun) Flavor Text: “Revenge is a dish best served with buckshot.” Appearance: A rugged, rusted, brown and red shotgun with two barrels. There are etch marks along the sides, as if someone was tallying kills. Stats: Slow fire rate, decent impact, mediocre range, low stability and high reload speed. 2 round mag. Exotic Perk; Revengeance: When revived, gain a temporary damage boost to whatever type of enemy killed you. Does not work on strike bosses or Guardians. Excalibur (Pulse Rifle) Flavor Text: “All in the name of the one true King.” Appearance: Gold and white with ornate designs. Stats: Mediocre fire rate, low impact, high range, decent stability and decent reload speed. 50 round mag. Exotic Perk; Round Table and Broadsword. Round Table (comes standard): This weapon fires a 5 round burst. Broadsword: Rounds overpenetrate targets and precision kills cause them to explode. Edit: Additions Eye of the Allseer (Rocket Launcher choice between Void and Solar, can be switched) Flavor Text: "The Allseer sees all, nothing can escape its gaze." Appearance: a strange weapon of what seems to be of unknown alien origin. Appears to be a living weapon with an eye. Stats: low fire rate, decent blast radius, low velocity, mediocre stability and decent reload speed. 1 round mag. Exotic Perk, changes based on burn element; Allseer's Gaze and Allseer's Rage. Allseer's Gaze (Void): rocket stops a set distance away from user and will fire a continuous beam at any enemy nearby for a short amount of time before exploding. Allseer's Rage (Solar): rocket will aggressively follow targets even around corners. Stargazer (Scout Rfile) Flavor Text: "I can see my house from here!" Appearance: a sleek, black, modern looking rifle with a mounted telescope as long as the gun itself. Stats: low fire rate, high impact, maxed range, mediocre stability and low reload speed. 10 round mag. Exotic Perk; Stargazer: Enhanced zooming capabilities. This weapon does extra precision damage. Gungnir (Arc Sniper Rifle) Flavor Text: "A weapon so unwieldy that only a god can handle it properly." Appearance: A golden sniper with what looks like a spear at the end of the barrel. Stats: Low fire rate, maxed impact, high range, extremely low stability and reload speed. 1 round mag and 3 in reserve. Exotic Perk; Spear of the Gods: Rounds overpenetrate multiple targets as well as terrain without losing damage. Howler (Void Shotgun) Flavor Text: "Death begets death." Appearance: Much like Boneyard, it's a sleek black hive themed weapon. Stats: Decent fire rate, low impact, high range, mediocre stability and decent reload speed. 4 round mag. Exotic Perk; Shrieker Shells and Eviscerate. Shrieker Shells (comes standard): This weapon fires void rounds that slightly home in on targets (exactly like Shrieker shots). Eviscerate: Causes a void explosion (Bloom) when an enemy is killed. (Aim in sight and hold to lock in target. Basically it will turn corners, go backwards, just do anything to reach that target.) [u]exotic machine gun[/u] [b]The Reaper[/b] [i]Let it absorb your light, and exchange it with darkness[/i] Perfect Balance Main perk [b]The Reaper[/b] rounds fired from this weapon are influenced towards the targets critical hit spot, and critical hits do twice as much damage. [u]Exotic Rocket Launcher[/u] [b]MAYHEM[/b] [i]A fireteam has discovered something horrible on Mercury[/i] Tracking [b]Life Beware[/b] the longer this launchers rockets remain airborn, the more damage the shell deals.
