Deleted a character with a lot of good gear and materials
Lost all my gear from my deleted character will I get this back from the postmaster or is it gone forever

Hi VIPR, Sorry to hear about that. Unfortunately, once a character is deleted all of the items in their inventory is also gone. https://www.bungie.net/7_I-accidentally-dismantled-an-item-I-wanted-to-keep/en/Help/Article/12211

Once it's deleted, it gone. You should have put your things in the vault and on other characters.
