Beat PoE 34 but didn't open any chests...
I joined these two guys and beat PoE before work today. When we hit the airlock, I stated I needed to get my key from another character on the Destiny app. They said they would wait, but when I came back, they had opened the chest and I was on a mission end countdown.
I panicked and fell to my death, although I wouldn't have been able to make it in time anyway. I never opened any chests (and now realize I should have booked to orbit.)
After work today, I beat PoE 34 again. I had not opened any chests, so I should be good, right? No. I got motes and coins. I missed my etheric light and weapon core chances this week, because -blam!- those guys.
I am broken...

The Etheric Light and cores are awarded straight to your inventory when the arena is complete. They do not come from the chests, although to trigger the end of the arena a chest has to be opened. Check your inventory and postmaster if inventory was full. All you missed from the small chests would have most probably been notes and synths.

When you was on your app and they opened the chest you all would have gotten the Etheric light, check you inventory. For the chests, that is legit loot for the small ones. If you opened the large one and some slots were full, the loot will be at the postmaster.

3 RepliesThere may be a greater reward chance if youve never done it, also i think its supposed to give an etheric every time. There is no weekly bonus tho for opening the big chest as far as i can tell. Sucks man bad luck
