Before someone comes in and posts a comment saying how I don't have a gjallarhorn... just don't...its a RANT/discussion.
First off Xur our lovely "friend" who visits us every week to spread disappointment...SOME times joy...Xur agent of the nine won't sell gjallarhorn and here is why I think so.
1. After the bulk of the destiny community figured out gjallarhorn was effective at just about every thing an EXTREME demand for the exotic broke lose. Thousands grinding for the exotic rocket launcher known as Gjallarhorn.
2.Gjallarhorn became a must have for all guardians and was therefore integrated into almost all boss/end game activity strategies ( Ex- Crota's End)
3. Places that provide LFG become flooded with "Have a Gjallarhorn maxed or no invite without Gjallarhorn" this essentially stopped most players from obtaining a Gjallarhorn or complete their activity.
4.PoE in most new strategies somehow involves Gjallarhorn which stops players from completing that weeks rotation.
5.Xur might not sell gjallarhorn because if he did every boss/end game activity would be easy for everyone.
Most guardians who have beat level 35 have used the gally method to do so( there are some who haven't ). Even if you do your best in a game and get top scores a lot the game's RNG system will stump your chances still. In no way am I saying anyone who has a gjallarhorn needs to help other guardians 24/7 (although sometimes that would be nice) or that any one with gjallarhorn is bad. This is just my view on gjallarhorn's impact on destiny and its community.
