I'm gonna try the auto rifle varyks was selling. It seems bungie realized their mistake with high ROF low impact ARs because most of their new ones have a faster ROF and higher impact. But initially, I'm gonna say again, they need a buff.

Start using pulse with the buff the did go out find a neat pulse rifle (reforgable) and reforge for full auto and headseeker. Trust me it blow people away. Ive been running around in trials with my The Messenger from the trials even without perks was still winning against red death users.

6 Replieshere is a possible buff: considering auto rifles with hidden hand perk don't do to bad, instead of giving them a damage boost give them a target aqusition boost! If you can land all headshots even with a bullet hose you are bound to win gunfights, so this buff wouldn't make auto rifles op again, but would make them a viable option!

I agree. I got a pest control matrix with a godlike roll, but unfortunately it's still relatively useless in crucible because the crit multiplier is soooo bad.

But Bungie didn't nerf them, Bungie completely destroyed them and rendered them obsolete. So now all I use is Scout Rifles. Are they going to be nerfed too? Then what? It'll be a never ending domino effect. Auto rifles definitely need to be buffed back up. Not back up to what they were before, but buffed up to somewhere between what they were and what they are now. It's ridiculous how useless they are now.

miss them and cannot even stand using them on level 3 dregs. Autorifles weren't nerfed, they were destroyed.

the entire community wants Bungie to buff the auto rifles back to their original state, they never listened. A hand full of idiots ask Bungie to nerf the ARs to the ground, It's a vital part of their patch.

I miss them as well. I have yet to even use one since the nerf. I assumed they were shitty. I'm A handcannon user now. Until they nerf those...

Yeah they may not have the stability of suros but still. Quick example, my dead shot shoots a tad slower than vex but does a bit more critical. 41 for vex 43 for deadshot. You see the problem here?

3 RepliesGod I hate how you have to unload a whole clip and still not even kill an enemy... Now that pulse got buffed and fire full auto they are the replacements... I miss wrecking with my auto but too many scrubs that don't understand how autos worked ruined them gawwh ..!!!!

8 RepliesYeah, but anyone else notice a little resurgence of autos in the crucible? I got a pest control matrix from a vanguard package and got an amazing roll. So decided to try it in crucible and I actually got kills! What was more surprising is there was like 5 other players using various autos. It felt like the good old days.

I started using them again and i think bungie ( who obviously went too far) quietly bumped them up a bit, all my friends agree that they seem better
