After seeing the amount of Complaints this game has received be it nerfs, buffs, RNG etc, I had a thought of when bungie introduce more Ghost Shells wouldn't it be great to have perks that came with them rather than the shells being purely cosmetic? Here are some ideas. [b]PVP GHOST SHELLS[/b] "The Rose" Ghost Shell Description: "Let go of the hate" - DoT from Thorn is negated at cost of the player not using DoT either. "Double Negative" Ghost Shell Description: "2 wrongs did make a right?" -increases the impact damage to match when firing against players equipped with TLW. "Cold Shoulder Fusion" Ghost Shell Description: "... No." - Negates damage received by fusion rifle fire by 3%. "Tactics of David" Ghost Shell Description: "Not today Goliath" -Negates all damage done by opponent's super at the cost of losing 50% of your charged super. "Shot Gun Diet" Ghost Shell Description: "Not too much Thanks" - increases bullet spread of opponent's shot gun whilst reducing their range when attacking you. "The winners circle" Ghost Shell Description: "You're a winner baby!" -Increase crucible Rep & Marks by 50%. Guaranteed a reward per game over 0.5 kd. [b]PVE GHOST SHELLS[/b] "The Gift" Ghost Shell Description: "Light of the traveller shine upon thee" - increases legendary/exotic engram drop by 20% "Arc Disposal Unit" Ghost Shell Description: "It's a dirty job" - Negates arc damage received by 3%. Arc Damage weapons gain faster reloads. "Paravoid" Ghost Shell Description: "Space magic, duh!" - negates void damage received by 3%. Void abilities recharge at a faster rate. "An Island in the Sun" Ghost Shell Description: "Going on a holiday" - negates Sunlight damage received by 3%. Sunlight weapons have chance to activate Fire Fly perk on shielded enemies. "The Returned" Ghost Shell Description: "we missed you old friend" - auto rifle damage increase by 1.5% in PVE. Range increase by 1% in PVP. Other ghost shells could include damage buffs when attacking certain enemies, and faction packages have a better chance to give you gear. Just some ideas. Any better non game breaking ideas you Guardians can come up for ghost shells are most welcome. Fight the good fight Guardians! [b]update[/b] another PVP/PVE Ghost Shell idea "Sentimental Nostalgia" Ghost Shell Description: "A time before the traveller" - Opponent's super damage and exotic perks disabled and Elemental weapons deal kinetic damage at the cost of player having the same restrictions. "Vanity be thy name" Ghost Shell Description: "I want you to see my smile before you die." -Hides helmet when out in the wild or in Crucible. Critical Damage dealt in PVE increased by 0.5%. Damage received from head shots in PVP reduced by 0.5%.
