I miss the acerbic little ghost gabbing in my ear. I think the game would have been much better if he was trading jabs with variks, lipping off to petra and admonishing you for "letting yourself willingly get trapped in a murder coliseum for the amusement of the awoken."
The game doesn't seem right without the ghost talking.
No I don't care if you hate dinklebot.

Edited by o0DELTA FORCE0o: 8/2/2015 7:18:08 AMBungie is just going to steal audio clips from game of thrones add a robotic effect to it and toss them in TTK. After all they like recycled content :D

I totally agree and have heard he is going to be in the taken king. I wish they would go back and make him threw out the whole game ever since the dark below came out we have had zero contact with him or our own dialogue as well it's dumb
-
Oh god no
-
I like petras voice better lol

Bungie should've used an in-studio VA to work as the ghost that can be used whenever they want the Ghost to begin giving dialogue. Not that the ghost was useful during the "story", considering that whenever it decided to work on anything electronic, it caused all of our enemies to swarm where we happened to be at the time.

I dont see why so many hate him. I think he did a good job as the Ghost. People have too high of standards.
-
There's been so much hate and criticism over the voice acting of Dinklebot that frankly I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't want to do more voicing. I thought he did a pretty good job tbh.

"Dinklebot is dead, I, am not"-Variks
-
I sold him to Variks. Since he's been gone I haven't needed to open a single door.
-
'WE'VE WOKEN THE HIVE'
-
This guys a fellow day 1 player, as no one else calls him Dinklebot.
-
Peter Dinklage refused to voice more. Why yall quick to blame Bungie?
-
I miss Tyrion Lannister
-
Despite him always being there, he's such a forgettable character. Prefer a quiet ghost.
-
It's honestly surprising for me, I liked him better as annoying chatterbox than silent liability.
-
he needs to be crushed and recycled. I really think he only revived us so he can use us as a human shield. while we act like bullet sponges he is off having some kind of robot sex with the door opener. it takes exactly three waves of bad guys before he can climax and then he has us orbit and go to the next spot.
-
I feel the same way. I get that maybe they were not able to get him to come back to voice new dialogue, but I so wish they had. At the very least, I wish they had recorded a handful of, for lack of better way to put it, "generic" lines. Things like: "Scanning this, encryption's easier than I thought. Done!" It is all the more jarring when you go to do a patrol and he has things to say... And I love dinklebot. I loved the personality, deadpan delivery and all.
-
honestly at this point they need to bring back dinklebot. At the start of the game he wouldn't stop talking but now he feels more like a tool or a piece of armor than an entity that interacts with you and the world
-
Bump for Dinklebot.

Dinklebot, even with all of its crappy lines, is the best of all the voices. Because the lines for others are even more crappy, as well as the voice acting. Variks' voice is horribly forced, Eris is an annoying drama queen and Petra should wear a muffler.
-
-blam!- him. Variks for Life.
-
My guess: they have him under contract for a few games at least.would be wierd not to considering his role in the first game. Probably be back for the comet.
-
No, screw him. The game is actually good now that he's gone.
-
Completely agree Dinklebot is awesome and will hopefully be back for 'Taken King' :)
