exotics weapons are the best and u can only have 1 of em so it must be the weapon u consider yours the definition of guns well until u do the raid and get a legendary primary that way better than any primary exotic combined. exotics need elemental dmg cuz they are awesome and hard earned or at least those who isnt from xur but what if xur dident sell the REAL deal and was scamming u so its kinectic or its harder to get exotics and make raid weapons just as strong as exotics but have them as legendaries, or someting but when u make awesome guns like the ast word and it totaly fits arc dmg and it isnt then when some1 gets the raid handcannon he uses it cuz its better and u end up with every1 using the raid handcannon instead of the epic exotics, only purple in their inv why! WHY!!! the raid weapons ned to have someting else thats uniqe like each a uniqe ability that isnt a upgrade like fanfire on TLW only that its only on that weapon and make them just as remarkable as the exotics but dont make it that better than em.
