ATS/8 ARACHNID
The Arachnid is my least most used exotic armor for my hunter (before I lost everything). In the beta, the Golden Gun was able to do critical damage to enemies. If it allowed the GG to do critical damage, the Arachnid could take the Symbiote's place when damage to a single target is more important than taking out multiple threats.. I'm not saying it should be drastic, but a 50% ~ 75% increase shouldn't be game breaking.
Thoughts, comments, or why it shouldn't be?

Nighthawk is going to be good. Symbiote is good. Arachnid is poor in pvp and PvE sadly.

Personally I'd like to see the arachnid have a perk that fits its theme. Its description mentions induced halucinations. How bout the ability to see enemies through walls while golden gun is active? I dont think it should be geared towards single target damage, just because thats what the Celestial Nighthawk is gonna do.

3 RepliesThe new hunter helmet coming with HoW is The new exotic of choice for pve gunslingers, nevermind The others. The new one has a perk that makes the golden gun To fire just once but with 6x more damage, and enables the keyhole perk. :)

1 ReplyTotally agree! The helmet is so lack luster in perks and this would actually give it an edge! Your suggestion meshes so well with the helmet theme and special perk to!

I clicked agree, cause I can't think of a better way to buff that helm, It could use some other ups, not sure what, would prefer If i could wear multi exotics in crucible, (cause Id use spine for normal play, dance for heavy spawns, and arachnid for super, as i am usually playing on the massive maps....)

Take Hive Knights for example: If you hit 'em anywhere but the head, it takes 2 shots, as an oppose to 1 shot to the head. Same in Crucible: You hit a Panic Striker/Void Walker in the head mid super he/she will die, as an oppose to 2 shots IF they're at full health upon using a super. What I think Arachnid should passively is provide 25-50% more crit damage in mid Golden Gun usage.
