[b][i]OKAY[/i][/b] There are loads of forum threads about some sort of tower public event, involving the guardians that are there and such. I have my own spin on this idea, just let me know what you all think. [b][i][u]Crux:[/u][/i][/b] Defend the tower from roughly 5 waves of a set type of enemy. [b][i][u]Rewards:[/u][/i][/b] Custom Rewards (explained later) [i][b][u]Arena Zone:[/u][/b][/i] Each defensive "arena" would change depending on which enemy you faced. [u]Fallen[/u] -Probably an Old Earth city, torn to ruin, or a scarred battlefield [u]Hive[/u] -Cave or underground grotto area, maybe an old sewer, or perhaps an abandoned mining outpost. Either way, it needs to have some underground segments. [u]Vex[/u] -An Old Earth ruin, perhaps a place like Stonehenge or Mayan Pyramids or something similar. I feel like they need somewhere old and abandoned [u]Cabal[/u] -A desert area, lots of fierce sandstorms and rolling dunes. Perhaps a ruin or two to tie in with the Cabal v. Vex fight. Each public event should be a "prevent the enemy from getting to a certain point" type objective. After holding things down a while, a boss would show up and try to can all players in the area. Each public event should have a custom name, making each one a unique experience. For instance, the game could custom generate names for the event. Twilight Gap is an example, it takes two adverbs and makes a cool name. Examples could be things like "Veiled Spear" or "Shadowed Crest" or anything random. [b][i][u]REWARDS:[/u][/i][/b] Upon completion of the event, it would give you awesome weapons and armor, each piece with it's own custom name. Take "Veiled Spear" for example. Upon completing the event, players would be randomly rewarded with gear or weapons with names referring to the event itself. To clarify: If you won the event, you could be rewarded with, I don't know, a Legendary Sniper Rifle called "Ranger of the Veiled Spear". That way if people saw your weapon, they would envy it. It would be a way to be a bit different from other players, since only a few in the tower got to only play that event. Also: this idea should only come out after HoW so that any custom armors would be able to reach level 34. Leave a reply if you have anything to point out or just neat praise.
