Felwinter's TEARS
Alright so I'm not gonna be some asshole who's like "get gud n00b" or "suck it up" but let's be realistic about this. I mean having to earn this weapon is a journey in itself. A joruney of rage and utter frustration due to lag and/or the other team just dick slapping you. The Iron Banner is not a nice place man, we all know this shit. You actually have to earn this weapon by reaching level 4 or 5 and just participating in the IB after rank 3 (if you're lucky for it to drop). You can't buy Felwinter's with your "marks" or "strange coins." Yeah it stands out form other shot guns with the right perks, but like I said the fact that you have to earn this shit and reforge it to your specifications. It's easily countered, there ARE flaws in the weapon, speacial ammo has been regulated a bit in the crucible. Yeah my felwinter's might just one shot you across the room with my shot package and hammer forge, but hey, -blam!- you, I earned this shit. Don't come with that "nerf this bungie plz" bullshit.

[b]Soooo XMehdinX was kind enough to post a video on the comments which features a warlock kicking ass with various shotguns. Being Felwinter's Lie, Found Verdict, and a Vendor Weapon. So i ask again, if there's little to no difference on the pefromance, why so much hate for Felwinter. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if we can counter these other shotties, why not felwinters. I mean, they seem to perform just as good in the right hands.

The felwinters is a nice gift for all the hours, bounties, rage, et cetera. A nice reward from an EVENT. Other shotguns have the same capability as felwinter, some have similar base stats, but the reforging of the felwinter is what gives it it's edge. Found Verdict for example, same base range, but my perks i rerolled push my felwinter's upward to the top. it is still flawed though, the RoF, stability, and reload stats are not that great. Coming off an event, the felwinters in respect is great.

It's literally the only gun I get killed with close combat whise in the crucible other than TLW, but picked up a shotgun today that mirrors the stats on my hunter.

Honestly, as a FWL user I find it to be ridiculous, the gun is not broken but it feels very cheesy HF + SP make this weapon literally a buckshot sniper I wouldn't be surprised if it got it's base range nerfed

1 ReplyReplying to that bottom portion. There is a huge difference in performance from lie to vendor. I've rolled hammer forged and shot package on the likes of secret handshake and I think it was two to the morgue. Neither performed nearly as well as my found verdict off the first shot. As to lie's place in the game. I don't care much for it. I think it's is clearly a blowout in competent hands. It is limited by ammo so it is not really big deals but Destiny PVP is more TTK management than anything. People who don't have access to these type of weapons are always going to be frustrated. I will never be one though to call for a nerf. I will revel and teabag the guy who sits around a corner with his Lie though when I murder him with a blind grenade toss because he NEVER moves.

First u yes U admit that fel winters can snipe someone across the room. Then go on to reference cmehids video to further discredit u. If u actually watched his video mostly all his shotgun kills were close range. Now look at time 1;49 in his video he tries a medium distance shotgun and fails badly, if that was the fel winter that guy woulda died. Yes mehid is very good at using shotguns. but comparing fel winters to second rate shotguns is like comparing a lambo to a Toyota-.- I just think ur a special snowflake who wont be special much longer. Earned my ass how hard is it to go on the forums and make a team? I reached rank 4 by Thursday easily. I didn't know it was so hard to shoot the things that move in cruicible. Even if u lose ur still getting a lot of rep-.-

Haven't used mine much, but I'm happy to at least have Rangefinder on mine. More of a sniper person anyway. Good to see Felwinter's isn't all around hated ~

1 ReplyI rerolled the crap out of both of mine, and i bought them after getting to level 5 legit, none of this exploit BS and I'm not good in crucible. Judgement VI has comparable stats, it's not the only shotgun with range. You have a problem with Felwinters Lie? STFU and get out of the crucible, come back when your balls drop.

1 ReplyYes, this logic is sound. Next, Bungie should create an extremely tough to complete bounty that rewards you with a primary slot Heavy Machine Gun that has the maxed out stats. As the OP has pointed out, "tough to get = Is okay to be OP" therefore the idea makes sense. No one think about how your personal performance in Iron Banner doesn't impact your points, so you could theoretically AFK your way to rank 5 in IB okay?

People complain about felwinters because people could role for the perks they want (most used.) Other shotguns rarely get the perfect perks like mine did.

2 RepliesFelwinter's isn't a Shotgun... it's a [b]SHOTZOOKA[/b]!!! LOL... I have one for each Elemental type. Two for PvP (Hammer Forged/Shot Package & Hammer Forged/Rangefinder) and one for PvE (Full Auto/Perfect Balance). I love each and every one of them. ;)

the FWL and bronzed (something) ecs has the same stats its just blue - so in a reg match in PVP it almost the same.

I don't make forums posts whining about its range. (Utterly ridiculous) I just deal. My biggest regret- I didn't try and get one myself. Figured I'd stay fine with my found verdict. If I had it I'd be using it. Now I know for next time.
