Everyone that says this is disc locked content obviously doesn't know what that really implies. Just because you can't get to a few areas that were meant for mission doesn't mean it's locked content just a locked area. As it is there is no coding for the mission. As there is no mission there is no reason to be in that area in the first place. A fleshed out map doesn't mean it's the finished product or that they are trying to lock you out of content. "But Sonow aren't the missions locked onto the Disk, There was a picture shortly after Destiny's release that showed all the missions on map". Yes and no, these were place holder names and areas for the missions. If you were to look back and actually take in all the mission info you would have noticed there was no Fist of Crota missions (And just as huge of an example of change this can be, Fist of Crota was changed into a full mission instead of temp one you can only do once per character) and the mission that you get for completing all the urn missions was not present either. Going even further into this point, look at how many games that have had disk locked content over the years, surely if the missions existed in the game at any point wouldn't there be a video of someone playing the missions via a hacked console? Yet, no matter how hard I look, I can't find any gameplay of Crota's end before TDB released. "But Sonow, what about the areas that have enemies and the one that even has a boss.". From what I remember this has been in the game since the Alpha, and, believe it or not, simply placing and moving enemies in any video game is not as easy as just right clicking and deleting. Everything in this game works in tandem with one another and removing the enemies would require reworking the coding in the game which in honestly would have taken quit a bit of work. Just look at forge for example from the Halo series, most people think that it's simple, but think of all the coding that goes into just moving and placing a block in the ground, there are codes telling the system what type of mode you are in, to erase the detection of movement against the ground, to merge the object with the ground and wall, and to tell they system to keep the detection of players so you don't just fall through it. Programing an enemy is much the same, it's complex, and deleting one code about that enemy can lead to slew of many more issues. As it was stated earlier, things can easily be changed in Destiny. Just look at what Terminus used to be and what it is now. Who's to say the other areas that were explored before haven't changed as well.

For those who were around for the dark below does the content become playable at midnight or do we have to wait for the weekly reset?

We downloaded 6GB a couple of weeks ago, and there's no way it took 6GB just to give us vault space and helmets in the tower. That was HoW. The update we get on release day will be smaller, unlock the content, and probably have some last minute fixes and changes that would have been finished between that patch and the official release.

TDB was only a 200 kb download Anybody who says it was true DLC, either is a blind fanboy, or doesn't know anything about data storage. Eris and Crota was always there, we just paid for mission icons HOW is also already there, that's why you can glitch into the "NEW" quest and story areas

No it's a new bouncy ball that will be added to the tower. It's called Dancing disco ball.. With strobe lights.

probably just a fix for the black hammer's white nail perk not activating when shooting walker legs, and some other small bugs. i can't see 1.2 being released this early. probably won't be pushed until like the day before
