Silimar's Wrath is a joke, right? Silly Marshmallow gun
The name Silimar has to be a stupid pun derived from 'Silly' and 'Marshmallow', right? What a piece of trash.

First crota run was post autorifle nerf and I got abyss defiant. I equipped it immediately and used it religiously. What a gigantic piece of shit that gun is, I own up to my past scrubness.

7 RepliesI remember back in the day of the first few weeks of VoG. Our second clear, and I finally got myself a legendary primary weapon. Hell, it was even an AR! That did element damage. I was so excited. Oh how innocent I was. Worst weapon from the whole raid. It must have been a mistake. There's no way they'd just throw in such a horrid weapon and think it was good. Then TDB dropped, and every AR was the same. Oh how naive I was. But then we were allowed to do Crota on hard. First run I got the AR from it. I was sceptical. But then I took a good look at it. It had a decent impact. It had a more commonly desired element. It had good perks. It was the light from within the darkness. It gave me hope. That we would again have good ARs. Then the nerf came. Suddenly, every AR was useless. Every. One.

It's a shame really, because the gun looks like excalibur.

But what you can have are a very particular set of my skills, skills I have acquired over a very laggy crucible career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you stop talking badly about Silimar's Wrath now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. This really upsets me because I think it's such a sexy looking gun. I equip it when I'm in the tower with my banner gear on but quickly switch to vex, mida, or timurs lash when in actually trying to do something

1 ReplyBungie used the wrong verb is all. It was crunch time and the computer programmer had been up for well over 24 hours trying to finalize everything, so its understandable that he replaced "Tickle" with "Wrath". So now everyone knows the truth...the guns real name is "Silimar's Tickle"

12 Replies1. Treat it like an SMG...not an assualt rifle. 2. Spec it for at least TWO stability upgrades and either a range or damage buff. ...and you'll find that it is a VERY effective---very accurate---- close-to-short-mid-range killing machine. I have three right now. One stock...two drops. The stock one is almost maxed and has Counterbalance, Perfect Balance, and Glass Half Full. One drop (that I'm keeping) has Persistence, Perfect balance and Third Eye. The other is going to get re-rolled. It's like the second one, but has Hammer Forged instead of perfect balance.
