How does Xur ruin this game
Not seeing it. Xur'd weapons have never affected me or my gameplay and I highly doubt it had affected anybody else, so how does he ruin the game again?

3 RepliesI thought exotics were supposed to be you know "exotic." Very rare to find and get. With Xûr exotics are now pretty much the common greens except for a select few like the vex. Same thing can be said for those exotic bounties. I constantly get them every time i turn my bounties in. If I were counting id probably have about 10 thorns, 6 pocket infinites,... you get the idea. Exotics in this game don't really feel exotic. Only ones that do are Vex, Gjallarhorn, and Necrochasm. Legendaries and even a couple blues I have feel more exotic then the exotics. Hell, my Khostov feels more exotic. If Xûr were to sell something else like maybe some "nine" gear and weapons from where he's from I think this game would be better off and exotics would actually be "exotic."

3 RepliesI don't so much have a problem with Xur as I do the concept. It was my understanding that Exotics where supposed to be the rarest items in the game, but they're not, instead a few select Legendary weapons are. Exotic weapons at this point are too common to be labeled exotic, they're no different now from a Legendary you can buy from a vendor.

People bitch about "xurning weapons" yet they go and buy 10 packs of heavy ammo synths, lol hypocrites quit xurning heavy synths and go buy them from the gunsmith.

He doesn't. It's just that a small number of people have their priorities mixed when it comes to "earning" something... they complain the loudest.

i think xur is the better way to get exotics. i joined a nightfall last minute, got two shots in on Aksor, and got hard light. i already had hard light from doing the weekly with multiple characters, abd then doig rocs forever for enough coins. it is way more work to get an exotic through xur than it does to get lucky from RNGesus. so anybody who says Xur is not earned, i highly disagree.

he doesnt ... he hasnt sold 1 exotic that he hasnt sold before everyone claiming he has ruined the game has not been around since week 1 when he sold the red death then week 2 he sold ghorn... xur has helped the game a hell of a lot but he has killed crucible almost lol

It doesn't ruin anything. Xur should be open 24/7 with all weapons and armor available; it wouldn't bother me in the least.

8 RepliesI don't think he ruins the game but he does add certain level of unbalance to everything. For example, i had to do nighfalls/raids weeks after weeks until i finally got my first ever icebreaker, i got it at Valus when it went on during January, 3 days later Xur sells it. Christmas noobs, non-nighfall or raid players.....everyone got it for 17 stupid coins............What happened to my loyalty and dedication towards the game? why did i have to wait over 4 months to get the sniper when people who got the game at Christmas get it after 2 weeks? No grinding, no effort......absolutely nothing but coins that you can easily get to reward an amazing weapon.......... And the Gally..........I had to wait 1050 hours of gameplay to get my first one...........a friend of mine got it after 60 hours gameplay and getting carried through the nightfall at a level 27...................The overall unbalanced rewards is what gets on my nerves

When he sells 1rst tier primary weapons the crucible is a mess. When he sold Red Death it was unplayable for at least 2 weeks.

This is just me being weird, but the weapon sounds some exotics make annoy the hell out of me (Suros/MIDA specifically). I loathe the weeks immediately after Xur sells them because I cant get the sounds out of my head (I use A40's). If Xur did annoy me on any level it's because of that, I know it's weird.

He doesn't ruin the game at all....... only the try-hards and snowflakes will say otherwise. He helps balance out RNG screwing people over and brings a more consistent way of getting exotics. (people who say they earned their exotic in an RNG game obviously don't understand how RNG works).

He does not ruin the game. Some people (including myself) does not have any luck at all and that is why Xur is needed. Besides, grinding for Strange Coins challenges you more than getting Exotics as random rewards for completing Crucible matches.

This is a casuals game too. I have almost 2000 hours. Not everyone has that much time to play. Xur is the way. Xur is life. Bungie is not selling the game to the 200 MLGs out there bros. live with it.
