I've played since day one and have zero raid completions
So tell me what you think of this.

You're not a true Destiny player if you don't raid.

How you choose to play the game is entirely up to you, so if you're having fun doing what you're doing I see nothing wrong. Maybe you were put off raiding (like I was) after some bad experiences with randoms... If that's the case, you should consider joining a clan... Plenty of mature, active clans out there to help you get through and hopefully enjoy the Raids. I joined one a couple months back and finally feel like I'm getting the most out of Destiny

Prior to last week's announcement, that would suck, but when HoW drops you won't need raid armor as you can upgrade any legendary armor. That's not the point you're driving at obviously, I'm just saying that raid fever will subside a bit when the raid isn't the only bath to Level Cap.

I dont do raids or crucible because it doesn't reward you with something I would want. It is such a random experience I might as well bet on the horses... So what I must do countless of PVP missions so I can get a nicer helm or a nicer gun? Okay so I got it,now what? Do I get something for it...is it an ego thing? Since I was 20 I stopped listening to my ego for such trivial matters. Teens like to do the pissing contests,they will learn the futility of it soon enough. I played this for the main story...since Bungie promised a cinematic experience in all their trailers and seemed like the PVP was more like a bonus...but it turned out cinematic experience was more like a sarcastic remarks by Bungie and to get any good gear you need to do PVP or you have to grind like -blam!- in PvE. Awful. But ,I could manage to complete the game with crappy weapons anyway. I hoped the campaign will be better integrated with the online elements,to some degree it does a good job. But the story is nonsensical...it seemed like something was cut out. So yeah,I don't need to prove I'm good because I know I don't suck in FPS games...those who need to do PVP because of their ego,sucks to be them. PvP in this game is not as fun as BF3 for example...hence why I don't play it. Not that I'm into competitive games anymore. When I was a sniveling teen,back then I was interested. Don't worry you aren't missing a thing. This game has the worst kind of players I have seen in the last year. Just awful...look how many hateful comments you got. People (little sh1th3ads) are acting like -blam!-ing junkies. Disgusting. Everyone says they're addicted ...Jesus -blam!-ing Christ However not everyone is like that. You may find nice folks who just want to play online. Cheers. P.s.: haven't finished Crota yet...it is a grind fest. Meh,I rather play AC 4 or Dark Souls

Lots of good people out there, you just have to dive in until you find a crew. That being said I've only completed Crota a few times before I got kind of bored of it all... should go back and get my VoG one of these days.

I'm Day 1 with one Raid completion (VoG). All I got was Chatterwhite.
