Ammo synthesis packs are a valuable addition to the game that give you breathing room in difficult situations. However, since they are most valuable in life and death situations, the steps you must take to activate them need to be streamlined. Instead of having to go into a menu to use them they should automatically be activated via a long press of the reload button, similar to the way that heavy weapons are accessed by a long press of the weapon-swap button. Keep the cooldown the same and make it contextually use the ammo pack for whatever weapon is currently equipped. Consider that these packs are the most crucial in high pressure situations like nightfall strikes in which poking your head out at the wrong time means instant death, and a possible return to orbit. It would be convenient to be able to access my ammo stash without having to open a menu screen while several angry overpowered minions of the darkness are bearing down on me. the members of the guardian radio podcast have voiced this as well. though this is sort of a nitpick, i would love to see a change like this in the game. if you guys do implement this i will kiss deej on the face.
