I was playing with randoms in crucible last night when I thought I had the usual delay in resurrecting... No biggie I thought, often it's a 5 second delay, but this one lasted a full minute. Every time a teammate died they couldn't res, but the opposition could res fine until it went to 6v1. When the last guy in our team died we all resurrected at once and then it started happening again!
Anyone else ever experience this?
Is this messed up lag or something more sinister?
Incidentally my network is fine; I downloaded Destiny digital edition in 40 mins flat, and that was 16gb. Other games work fine too.

Edited by Kageki: 4/22/2015 2:02:45 PMThe Crucible is so darn laggy. Just last night I kept getting the drop on these guys in a match where I would come up behind them and just blast. Rather than die, they would take a little damage and then disappear. I was like, "Hmm..where did they go?" The answer, time and time again, was that they would suddenly reappear behind me to deliver a shotgun blast to my head. And oh yeah, that would be followed up by some relentless tea-bagging. If you want to be great a Crucible, you can git gud or learn how to lag switch.

Yea I'm not sure what causes the respawn delay, but depending on when it happens it can really suck for the team on the bad end of it. Just a couple days ago I was in a match on Anomaly playing control. It was a close game like 13k to 14k, my team was down but controlled 2 points. Then our whole team couldn't respawn whereas only one guy on the other team couldn't. In the meantime their 5 players capped the flags and grabbed both heavy ammos while we were locked out. The game finally released us about 5 sec after heavy dropped. We have no heavy they have 5 with it and all points. The match ended very quickly after that. :(

Crucible lag is horrendous. It's peer to peer and there are no dedicated pvp servers. I stopped playing yesterday because my shots would just not register. On the other hand I can tell when I'm the host because of how smooth it is
