This gun is exotic, and deserves to be feared. It's arguable the hardest one to get in the game as well. I hope bungie doesn't cater to the whiners of the community. Keep thorn buffed. It's viable as a use for my exotic slot in PvE for most situations now. Pre buff it was a neat mechanic, but too slow with too small a mag and too little damage. Ragers gonna rage, don't make the silent content folks pay for their inability to take a loss in the crucible. You want proof? Look at my k/d in the crucible. I've used thorn exclusively since I got it months and months ago. My k/d isn't great? Or even good really. And I bet if you analyzed that data it'd hold true for most. I should also note, I'm no pvp noob, the years I played halo I was typically top 3 in any match, the thing is with destiny I've had WAY more fun in the PvE side, like, way too much life guzzling fun. Edit 2: recently stopped using thorn, because red death is better in IB. Way better. Thorn doesn't need a nerf, it's so easy to beat. I think people think it's op because you notice the green sizzling screen. Just wait until the community gets a load of that exotic PoE sniper. Now THAT thing is op. My God does it REK.
