Are You Upset About No Iron Banner Week of 4/21? I am WTF?!?!
Look I'm a hardcore player and play most everyday, 3 32s all exotic weapons, ect.. By Weds every week both Raids, Nightfalls & Weeklies are done. This leaves just one thing - Crucible. I enjoy Crucible more than most. My Hawkmoon is painted in blood. Many of my clan mates do not. There are not enough rewards to justify to them sitting in a 2-3 hr session of getting their s#@t kicked in.
Enter Iron Banner. At least here you can buy different better looking armor (albeit with lackluster perks), unique weapons, and reroll gear. Now your telling us it's delayed again?! In a month ToO is going to be out. No one is going to want to play IB again until a month after they have exhausted the new DLC. Why is it so difficult to launch an event that you have the capacity to?
In my eyes there should be a special event every single week except for the launch of a new DLC. Bring Queen's Wrath back every month, have a hive focused "Wrath" that goes along with the Dark Below bounties event every month too. Have Iron Banner monthly.
The lack of content is becoming very underwhelming. I am literally defending your product all week to over 100 clan mates because of the lack of a raid - they want out. I'm here trying to show them the light at the end of the tunnel. Now no IB this week? The lack of content is becoming disturbing and I am starting to side with those who no longer want to support your game. It sucks, because I enjoy it, but you're shooting yourself in the foot here. Step up the content and keep us engaged. We all want an immersive experience, immerse us! End rant.

I rage posted all night about this after Deej tweet, ultimately I was told not to expect anything from bungie, and to just play the game...and that it was my fault I was dissappointed...lol unfortunately not enough people care about IB to get anywhere...

9 RepliesTo be honest, I'm surprised that the forums are burning because theres no iron banner. I play this game for PvE and We haven't had anything special for months now. Both PvE and PvP are being promised something special each after HoW, so, that's the fist time a PvEer will see ANY new PvE based content, while PvP will continue to get the Iron Banner and now Triials of Osiris...Heck, I bet you'd still raise hell if they missed Iron banner again.

I agree they need to step up the number and variation of events. It doesn't take a lot of money or time and would give everybody something to enjoy on a regular basis.

It would have been nice, but since the bug/glitch is there it's unfair to have it since a lot would probably do it, so I can see why they choose not to have one.

im glad there will be no iron banner , its hard to find raid people because everyone is doing that stupid iron banner when its enabled , there was enough iron banner already , time to make a pve event like double loot from VOG etc.

Yes just been getting into the crucible and doing quite well for my standards so wanted to try my hand at IB. But bungie have dropped the whole game for a month til HOW comes out. Way to go Bungie, a month a go my friends list was teeming with destiny players now no one plays it apart from Tuesday's and Fridays Top notch.
