I've been quietly reading these so called lfg posts for some time now. I've never posted a topic to the forum before today. It has occurred to me that there's a lot of higher level players out there who have forgotten where they came from, lost from them is a positive sense of our community and (along their path) have become selfish, arrogant gamers. Maybe they've always been this way. Maybe they are easily swayed by people with an intention that is less than honorable. Doesn't really matter. How are we supposed to be challenged if we exclude those of us that need our help? There has not been a truly difficult part in this game (for us) since TDB, and that was fleeting. There's good and bad people wherever you go, sometimes the bad manifests itself as elitist exclusion. It has happened time and time again for a millennia. Excluding kids or people who don't have a certain level , armor or weapon type. This is nonsense. Trust me , we level 32's did not get there by ourselves and we certainly weren't born with a mythical rocket launcher coming out of our asses, don't let anyone tell you different. Most of our gear is overkill for any engagement. The negativity on here is blinding, but I get it. Most people that spew hate filled responses have no other way to do so, no outlet. The world hasn't acknowledged them positively so they lash out at random "people" on the Internet ,which is really no more than some simple code. LOOK AT ME!!!! I'M RELEVANT!!! Not realizing or maybe without the basic comprehension that these statements last forever and as Prince would say "that's a mighty long time". It's popular to be an asshole these days, it's what the masses want, for you to conform to them. Don't let it take you. Having said that, being respectful is the key. Most of us who are higher level have put a lot of time into this game, showing respect is the quickest path to great mentorship and guidance. Leading you through Crota's end is a lot easier if you listen and learn, then pass it on when you have your moment in the lead. There is only one way to get this community on the right track.
