To me, it's pretty clear why they decided to not have a raid implemented into HoW. They knew that the bulk of the community who bought the DLC season pass regretted it, and would likely refuse to buy any future DLC, therefore, they cut the raid and plan on implementing it into the Comet expansion later this year, giving the community a reason to buy said expansion. Most of the people that HoW is being released to have already purchased it in the season pass, so by Bungie logic, what reason do they have to give us something decent? They've already made their money. So my guess is, they're gonna take the good stuff, and implement it into Comet as an incentive to buy new DLC that we haven't already paid for. This is just my take on things, so anyone is free to discuss their reasoning as well.

Fallen raid = enemies w/ tracking rounds = death

I for one was really hoping for a firefight mode like in odst
-
I just think they are going to work on this one more and hopefully not make a raid that was as bad as Crota's end
They knew that the bulk of the community who bought the DLC season pass regretted it

therefore, they cut the raid and plan on implementing it into the Comet expansion later this year, giving the community a reason to buy said expansion
These statements are contradictory. I bought the DLC and while I didn't like Crota as much as VoG, I enjoyed the additional content and I have no regret.
what reason do they have to give us something decent? They've already made their money
They have every reason to provide awesome content. Destiny is in the very early stage of its life cycle. I'll gladly take the additional content and new game mode offered in HoW and hang tight for a new raid. Disclaimer: I am not a Bungie employee. These are the thoughts of a fan and community member just like you guys.

Or: people like you bitched about how bad the last raid was for days on end and they wanted to make this one better. Either one.

What is this "Comet" everyone's talking about?
-
They delayed the raid so it won't be a broken piece of crap the the crota raid
-
Ps gets the raid exclusive i heard

Edited by ElectroHail: 4/20/2015 12:25:07 AMThey are. It's just delayed so they can make it awesome

I don't think that is the reason. Destiny is getting really thin. With more games coming out they stand to lose allot of players before Comet drops. I do believe the raid isn't ready. If it was it would be in the dlc.
-
No. They want to perfect the raid and release it before the next DLC.
-
They already have mini bosses for the fallen... such as spectimis and the archon priest What else do you want a HUGE CAPTAIN ?!??!?!???? That is pink I mean come on now...

Edited by Meo177: 4/19/2015 7:32:37 PMFor me destiny was a flop with dlc and bungie holding back so much content, we pay 60bucks for something so little and very limited. Im jus waiting to see wat HOW has in store n that will determine if i want to get the next expansion n if it sucks then i will save money for BO3 & FF15

my thought they looked at the raid. looked at solo's end pushed it back
-
I think they are holding it back to be released when another big game is going to be released. Hmm HoW drop May 19th....the same day Witcher 3 drops I believe. Smart and shitty of them at the same time. Just got a release date in November for Star Wars....so expect something then. And then be on lookout for when Tom Clancy's The Division is going to drop. That's what I see them doing. Chopping it up to save for a later date for ammo against competition.

I think it more has to do with just how bad the raids have been thus far. CE when DB first dropped, was trash. It was worse than trash. VOG had its fair share of problems as well (not as bad as CE). I think Bungie knows and understands that the next time they release a raid, it better be amazing. Otherwise who will take them seriously the next time they try and sell anything remotely close. Bungie knows that the next raid they come out with, will seal the fate of Destiny. They're just trying to do everything they can to make it as good as it should be. Whether or not they succeed. We'll see.

Well, I've known since the 3rd subclass leak that a lot was going to be pushed to comet to get players to buy it. What I did not expect was that they would provide almost no content for what players have already purchased the expansion pass. Like a worker doing bad work after they are already paid, because it doesn't matter. I also understand that a typical WoW monthly cost is $15. So an obvious conclusion is all we are paying for a small subscription fee for small content. One things for sure everyone will not only stop pre-ordering games, but will check to make sure that the expansion doesn't say, "subject to change" before purchase. I've understood that these expansions have those words, but up until now I've never seen a company act upon them in such a drastic way. It did say bungie was humbled by our raid performances. So I imagine that probably has something to do with it also. Ever since 2 people beat vault of glass way back, they have been unsure of themselves and their ability to provide adequate challenge.

If how flops I'm not coming back really really tryed to give them a chance and like many others got my season pass back in September.
