After seeing the blitz EA is putting on for marketing this game I'm starting to suspect there may be an exclusive PS4 map deal.
-
who the hell is going to play battlefront when halo 5 is out? sry ps4
-
Honestly, it could just be a presentation thing. They just get their logo on it and get to present the game in some way. Well, that's what I hope.
-
One I'm happy with
-
I'm waiting for the reviews.
-
Space battles- PS exclusive!! Lol
-
When do Xbox get Battlefront?
-
It's just marketing. It happens all the time and you really don't notice it. Xbox gets the EA early access which is good. And I've played PS4 and X1 and they honestly look basically the same, so they're not doing it for a graphical type of thing. Simply comes down to Sony paying more for marketing or whatever.
-
GTA 5 was the same way I think it looks prettyer on ps4 for trailers And I play xbone
-
I swear if sony gets all kinds of crazy exclusives with battlefront like what happened with destiny, i'm gonna be angry
-
Xbox still gets it first :#
-
This topic is about Battlefront and what deal ps4 made. Not console wars. Smh.

Edited by Garzon: 4/17/2015 10:05:47 PMDoes anyone know if this is coming to Wii U?
Started as a joke, but now I'm actually curious.
-
It's actually supposed to be playable first on X1 through EA Access, similar to Battlefield Hardline.
-
Edited by BritLemon: 4/18/2015 3:07:06 PMA simple marketing deal. It means nothing.
-
Marketing deal.
-
It is making me want to get a ps4 all these games are supporting ps and only exclusive to Xbox that would interest me Is halo but I'm over that. I'm waiting to play smite but not holding my breath
-
Possibly because the PS4 is the better selling console? I'm actually sort of surprised at this though. Sony does seem to be burning bridges when it comes to EA, as well as the fact that Xbox is getting Battlefront a week or so earlier.
-
You're overthinking this. It's common for publishers to form a marketing deal with Microsoft or Sony. Could be part of a broader marketing deal? Could be just this game? Don't know. Generally you see a console logo at the end of a game advertisement like this. Doesn't mean exclusive content necessarily.
-
Must of been a crappy one since XB1 has first dibs to game through EA Access.
-
Ps4 is more powerful and got more sales I'm guessing that's why??
-
You know what... This question is -blam!-ing repetitive... To be more specific, the answer. Last year on NZ television... Every -blam!-ing -blam!- game to come out, at the end... X BOX LOGO Now, this year, PS4. The answer is DUOPOLY. Sony and Microsoft use one another to remain at the top. ... Just go look up Duopoly. Please. Spread the word. It seems stupidly easy... Because it is. Especially when people don't know what it is.
-
Idk. I'll be playing on my xbone. Psn sucks.
-
Idk. Microsoft already payed for early access
-
Sony knows when they're gonna make money off a deal. Even though Destiny is a pile of crap, they still made bank off it.

Edited by Sailor Mars: 4/17/2015 6:45:12 PMThey are co-marketing the game similar to how Destiny was marketed where it didn't show it was in Xbox on the Sony's side of advertising. They are also getting the ok to make a console designed around the game. I believe that's what the deal is basically along side some probably minor DLC. It's not surprising really since Microsoft already has a deal with Activision for CoD in the month of November.
