So the second Star Wars teaser is out, and my pants tightened with glee. Glee or an erection - let's not argue details...
So, let's educate ourselves with some Star Wars Facts.
Did you know - Han Solo (shot first) was frozen in Carbonite in The Empire Strikes Back because Harrison Ford signed a two movie deal and wasn't contracted for a third film. Lucky for us all he was there to bring down the Death Star's shield in Return of the Jedi.

FACT! In A New Hope, when C-3PO and R2-D2 are hiding in the control room in the Death Star, there's a scene where the stormtroopers run in, find the droids, and 3PO says something to distract them and run off. When the troopers FIRST enter the room, look to the one on the far right. He bangs his head on the door. The sound effect is there and everything. Funniest thing I've seen in the movies that I've never seen talked about.

The prequels were terrible.

When the Millennium Falcon flies through the asteroid field in Empire Strikes Back - there is a shoe and a potatoe amongst the asteroids.

Star wars fact #69: Ahsoka tano is the most attractive Star wars character since mission vao.

In the Clone Wars Series, there is a Jedi named, Ima Gun Di. This refers to his brief existence within the universe because his name was supposed to be a pun of I'm gonna die, he was killed in the one episode that he was in.

Did you know that the Rebels are scum

There is a Jedi named Cin Drallig in Star Wars. He is seen briefly in Episode III, and he also appears in the video game adaption of Episode III as well. He is played by Nick Gillard, who was the stunt coreographer for the prequel films. The characters name is actually Nick Gillard spelled backwards (without the k).

23. The bounty hunter droid IG-88 was actually built from recycled film props. His head is the drink dispenser from the cantina scene in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. Lol

Star Wars fact: SWBF will be a flop!

The first light sabers were regular swords channeled with the force.

19. The word "ewok" is never said out loud in the Star Wars movies.

Return of the Jedi almost had a very different ending. In a story development session for Return of the Jedi, George Lucas toyed with the idea that after Luke removes dying Vader's helmet, he puts it on, proclaims "Now I am Vader" and turns to the dark side. Credit to the internet

Darth Bane was the best. Period. Bonus fun facts: Technically neither Vader or Maul were "Darth" as that term applies exclusivity to the dark Lord of the Sith, meaning the Emperor was was the only true Darth. Qui Gon Jinn floated between the light and dark sides all his life. This in turn made him one of the strongest Jedi Masters ever.

SWTOR ruined any chances of KOTOR 3 following Revan's storyline. lol @ me thinking about kotor 3 existence, it just won't happen. 😞

Also, episode 3 when the troopers stop Organs from entering the temple, the young Jedi who jumps out and kills a few of them is actually George Lucas' son.

Battlefront 3 looks better
Bring on the hate bitches
He didn't shoot first for Christs sake, it's better if he didn't anyway because than he looks like a a scoundrel not a murderer

Is Jar Jar technically a shatterpoint? Since if he died, the Military Creation Act might not have gone through. Which probably means Anakin, Obi-wan, Padme and all those Jedi probably would have died if they'd still gone to Geonosis.

The reason lightsabers are so hard to handle is because the blade is completely weightless. It takes extreme skill to use properly. When not in someone's hand, the blade automatically shuts off (to prevent some very serious accidents) That is why the force is required in a lightsaber throw, not only the boomerang effect, but to keep the blade on.

If quigon (excuse my spelling) had let jar jar get run over, then the Galaxy would still be at peace.

Edited by WileEWolf: 4/18/2015 7:19:38 AMStar Wars pioneered a new filming technology (Motion Control). Basically a camera is mounted onto a robot (possibly one as simple as a rail with a motorized device for moving the camera along the rail) and that way they could shoot the exact some movement in a particular environment. So, you could first film one person and then later film another person and put the footage together... thats how they did a lot of their special effects. Also, check out this awesome youtube video (Star Wars PSA): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCjMGOvMghY

The emperor reincarnated into a clone that escaped the Death Star and plans to build the Galaxy gun to destroy the Galaxy. No joke. I thought this was stupid
