Guardians = Zombies?
So the main reason I named the clan what I did was (aside from it being the name of a cool science fiction short story) was the idea that Guardians were actually light - infused zombies. I mean, we start out as dead, resurrected by Ghosts. We die over and over, but are resurrected time and time again. We're separated from the City, but why? Because the people there fear their protectors, the undying shadows of former people, with no lives aside from killing (and looting) our enemies beyond. Kinda freaky, really. Thoughts?

I have thought about that quite a bit myself. It started with the black garden grimoire card. Pujari had a vision of the black garden in which a ghost grew from the garden and said roughly "You do not belong here, you are a dead thing and all you will ever do is kill. This is a place of life" Pujari concludes with the fact that there was a cut on her hand when her ghost first revived and it has never healed.
