It's argued about every day here on the forums, but does anyone else realize shotguns are a symptom and not the root problem? The problem is the maps. Yup, maps. When maps are as small and close quarters as they are in the current PvP list it dictates what weapons are viable and which are not. You are constantly weaving around tight corners and almost never have an open space to maneuver where someone can't slide/blink right next to you in a split second. So for those of you who religiously scream for nerf and bans on shotguns I would ask you to reconsider the object of your frustration. You should be asking Bungie for more map variety so that you aren't forced into nonstop close quarters fighting all the time. Anyone agree? P.S. For the record I do NOT want shotguns nerfed or changed, that is not the reason for this thread.
