This seems to be a common complaint- omnigul/Valus strikes are "too long or too difficult". Bungie is nerfing Valus as a result.
I think they are the best two strikes in the game. They are well designed, fun, and I dislike cheesing either of them because I feel challenged when they are the nightfall.
We complain about a lack of content but when something takes 27 minutes on average (or whatever the Valus average was according to Bungie) we want it shortened? Enjoy the content we have and enjoy the gameplay/fighting mechanics!
Just my two cents what are yours?

Valus Tu'arc is probably my favorite strike in destiny
-
I love the Omnigul strike, so many enemies to horribly murder
-
Nvm misunderstood your post
-
Not too hard at all just time consuming for mediocre rewards =/

It boggles my mind that the average completion time for this strike is 27 minutes. I can have people with me that are actively making it harder and it will take about 15 minutes. Hell, I can totally dick around on this strike with my friends and finish it in 12 minutes. If we take it seriously we'll clear it in 9 minutes without skipping anything.

Does happened after the The Great Nerf of 1.1.1?
-

Not even hard. Stop sucking and maybe you'll get pass it scrub

Well I say...
I don't even know what I say.
Valus sure seems to have his health reduced and must be on a reduced Bullet Sponge Diet. I did the Strike 8 times so far (helping friends) and everyone noticed that it's health dropped much faster than previous times. Also it seemed to me the Tank "Boss" went down faster and did not fire as fast as has in the past. That could be because al my characters are now level 32 now, but it felt faster than previous times.

It's not too hard, it takes too long. Why do people not understand the difference. People in this game generally grind for rewards. So, if a strike takes 10-15 minutes longer and they can just zap out and spend a minute in loading screens and save 9-14 minutes to get the same reward, why not. This whole too hard thing is stupid, I don't even run strikes anymore but I understand the nerf because valus is just a big hp hog and he lasts too long as a boss and he isn't very intelligent. He walks around shooting you, at least aksor teleports and his map isn't 2 cat walks and piled up boxes.

Valus is easy to kill. I hate omnibitch though. Especially during a nightfall.
-
My worry is that strikes will be now made shorter and with easier bosses, which makes them essentially missions. The Omnigul strike is good until the boss fight because of bad room design. The undying mind is also a great strike. However I feel from now on all strikes will be like the nexus, were there is only one choke point and you can skip all the way to the boss, which is ridiculous.

Hmmm, I tried to solo the weekly on 30 about 10 or 11 times now. I can't seem to get Valus below 75%, to quote something a friend of one of my friends(they were playing CoD and I was playing Destiny) "I'm getting F***ed. I might as well take off my pants now."
-
Not hard, at all. Just grindy and long. There are better, more fun and quicker strikes.
-
I don't understand 27mins,they must take the data from the day one, when no one had weapons to slap the tank continuously, It took us around 17ish mins to do nightfall, we dicked around at the end as well creating orbs.
-
No, we complain about lack of content because there is none. Having long strikes isn't fun when you've been running them since the game launched.
-
"They are well designed"
Stahp, pls. Locking you in a room with 20+ Adds and three wizards is not "well designed", making a boss that auto spam rockets/laser bullet death is not "well designed". It's like RPG bosses that hit twice per turn - -blam!-ing bullshit.
-
I just ran the nightfall solo. First time ive ever done that. Valus is easy, its just boring. If it was another strike i probably wouldn't have been able to do it
-
The worst part is definitely the psions with the shields imo with light switch but other than that the strike is overall easy even without cheesing
-
I would go through the challenge if I was ever properly rewarded. Which I never do, so it's gonna get cheesed. Between Valus spamming rockets and sniping with his minigun to Omnigul with arc burn who never stops spraying with her splash damage that kills you in two shots, I quit doing Nightfalls legitimately.
-
Nah not hard tedious.
-
It's not hard it's just boring. While everyone runs through I walk through and kill my way through. By the time I see the others the boss fight is usually about to start.
-
Love the challenge !

It's -blam!-ing easy
