Chief wakes up in broken ship, cortana is like bby wake up. Chief is up and walks around, sees aliens and gets pew pew guns. Big alien Death Star eats all the alien ships and chief and they are inside. Long story short cortana has AIDS and can copy herself and crap. She holds down sith master diadect Cuz you know, AI's can touch ppl. Chief goes ALLAHU AKBAR and blows up a nuke manually, survives Cuz science and cortana touches his nip and says I always wanted to do that......the end

Halo 4: Chief and Cortana drift towards a Forerunner shield world called Requiem after the events of Halo 3. Also there is a Sangheili rebel fleet lead by Jul 'Mdama, a Covenant zealot who worships the Forerunners and despises humanity (as they were sort of responsible for his wife's death.) and a UNSC super-ship called Infinity. While on Requiem, Chief awakens a Forerunner called the Didact by accident. Didact hates humanity and wants to kill them. Long story short, Chief stops Didact and everything looks good, except for Cortana dying. The end of Halo 4. Oh yeah, and Halsey joins up with Jul 'Mdama because ONI tried to assassinate her. And she has this Forerunner relic that tells her the exact location of all Forerunner artifacts. Well, she has half the artifact. UNSC has the other half. A series of Halo comic books picks up where Halo 4 left off. Basically, Chief and Blue Team (from the books) get back together and go chase the Didact again because he didn't really die in Halo 4. Long story short, Didact dies and Chief keeps on going on missions with Blue Team despite Lord Hood telling him to go on vacation. Since he refuses to rest, everyone is worried that he's emotionally broken and perhaps mentally unstable. Eventually, he goes AWOL and everyone loses their shit. Locke is tasked with tracking down the Chief. Halo 5 starts up here, presumably.
