I wish I could share Vanguard/Crucible marks between characters...
They already let you share Vanguard & Crucible commendations through the Vault, why not marks? Thing is, I have a TON of Vanguard marks on both my Titan and my Warlock, but I have no use for either of them; my Hunter, on the other hand, is do for a level-up, and I need still to be buy her the Jackknife helmet and Gravebreaker gauntlets in order to get her to look the way I want. But that means grinding all next week for the helmet, and the week after for the gauntlets.
You know what I think they should do? Increase the maximum limit from 200 to 600, and the weekly limit from 100 to 300... and make it so that Vanguard & Crucible marks are shared between all 3 characters, just like Glimmer. What do you guys think?

I agree with this idea. It's not about cheating to upgrade a character! Sometimes, when we play raids, we look for different characters to play different roles in the team. Last time I played Crota's end (HM), we needed a hunter to help in the first section of the raid, and I was the only one with a hunter, but only at level 27! If I could use marks from my other characters, I could upgrade the gear in such a way to level it up to level 30.

Interesting Idea. I would prefer the ability to transfer between marks, crucible to vanguard and visa versa. There are a lot of people that don't like crucible. (myself I can take it or leave it, I hold my own generally a positive k/d but playing for 6-8 hrs to get full marks for the week is a bit much) but this would also open up the factions to these people that really don't like crucible.I love the idea of factions and think it could be so much more if they made it more accessible. Remember the ability to do certain things is just impossible because of the way the game is structured and the programming of the game. But given HoW will bring in the ability to transfer between ascendant items, I believe a transfer system for marks could be done. Bungie does listen so let make some noise.

1 ReplyYou used to be able to do that when the game first released. That was one of their early changes because people complained how easy it was to get gear and weapons.

This can't happen for the simple fact there would be no reason to have to build another character. You could just run story and get to 20 real fast then buy everything from the marks you have earned through other characters. Everyone seems to want to take shortcuts all the time and then complain they have nothing to do in the game anymore and how it sucks.

Ranking up a character in order to buy appropriate gear is not called grinding. It's called playing the game.

2 RepliesI love it, but they won't do it because it makes leveling the other character a joke. Want to level a new character? Ok, get them to 20, then hop on your main and run rocs, hop back to the new character & buy vendor gear. Just like that your max level is 31
