When somebody activates their super to take out a swarm of weak enemies like thrall, don't whip out your rocket launcher and shoot them just to get more kills than everybody else. Let the person with the super get some kills so he can generate orbs for the team and recharge 'your' super. Once your super is recharged, you can do the same thing.
Supers are invaluable in most PVE situations! For example, It allows the Warlock to self-revive; the Titan to use his shield and the Hunter to instantly go invisible multiple times.
As you can tell from the first line of my post, I am advising people to allow others to get kills with their super when 'you notice' that a person has activated it and they are approaching the enemy, for example, when a Sunsinger activates Radiance, or when a Bladedancer activates Arc Blade. Obviously some supers cause damage instantaneously, so their is no need to worry about rockets, etc. The orbs generated recharge other players' supers and allow 'super chaining'.
There is no need for a person to communicate with you when you see them activate a super in front of your face. Nobody is asking you to ignore enemies if you are unaware that somebody activated their super. I clearly stated that you shouldn't whip out your rockets and blast a group of weak enemies that a person is actively approaching with an already activated supercharge. So when people say 'how am I supposed to know when you have a super?', or 'tell us when you have a super', you will understand why I won't bother to explain why you have misconstrued my point.

Pro tip, if a players level icon has a yellow outline, it means they have their super.
