Or at least a strike. Something to where you absolutely cannot complete it without having all three classes. Like a part where you need the Titan bubble and only the bubble would work. Or you need a warlock void walker. A hunter with it's invisibility.

Ehhh I don't know. It would be hard considering the class groups are no where near even. There are way more warlocks and hunters than titans
-
Please no This puts far too much into the team based thing Considering the player base is dwindling, entire clans have basically disappeared, this type of content would basically be unplayable by a majority of the community and that would be boring
-
I want to see a part of a raid where there are three types of enemies attacking. Each class can only see and damage one kind of enemy. Say Titans can fight big armored guys and warlocks can see and fight fast moving attackers, etc bIt would take at least one of each guardian class to kill the enemies and pass.
-
Strike defiantly not. Those are match made. For raid that might be too extreme. Now there should be one where it's easiest with at least one of every class, but don't want to see it forced.
-
The new raid should have a part where you have to be invisible and snipe. Can be done with a hunter or patience and time.
-
Our raid strat for the Crota encounter utilizes two titans, two warlocks, a hunter and an utility guardian. We like it.
-
People are always going to find a way to cheese. A fair fight would be a giant open area with no obstacles or thjngs to hide behind of and it's just you and the boss.
-
A raid takes 6 people, there are 6 subclasses,it makes sense.I don't know about requiring one of each class to do a raid, but I think there should be some sort of secret that requires a team of 6,one of each subclass,to get to.Unless that's how we find the secret in the Vault of Glass.Lol.
-
Then you couldn't solo it. That would stop a lot of people from playing
-
"LFG need 1 titan 1 hunter 2 warlock"
-
That is restrictive and arbitrary. The only way to force people to bring specific classes is pretty much to just put up a wall that says "You must have X to proceed". While diversity is great, if you try to force diversity you are actually limiting peoples' options.
-
I'd love this. Whenever I am randomly paired with a Warlock and a Titan (me being a Hunter), I think of us as the power team. Of course, we rarely act as steam since we're all strangers but if we knew each other, I'd imagine we'd be unstoppable.
-
Both raids need all 3 classes. No raid has been completed properly
-
Good post.
-
Great idea. It's funny too knowing that was such a core concept of the game, and now I'm actually surprised when I run a strike and notice we're all different classes. Sad that it's so rare, but nice when it happens.
-
Yeah a more cooperative strike would be awesome....instead of defend this or "who's gonna be sword bearer/relic holder?" Or hunter solo this
-
This... to be honest this is what I was expecting when I first saw this game.. necessary teamwork by having different classes divided into different types of roles. A true teamwork experience requiring coordination and cooperation to ensure victory. Instead what we get is 95% of the time you don't need more than 1 person, with just a few exceptions for the raid, notably in the VoG, less so in Crota. VoG is still the only well though out and enjoyable part of the game to coordinate with other people using teamwork in, and it was what gave me some hope for the future of this game.. hope dashed to pieces by Crota, now I will be looking very closely at any new content Bungie throws out before I dump money into it.
-
Bubble to survive a nuke Self rez to survive a pulsing wave blast Invisibility to sneak past an overly strong enemy and activate a trigger...killing the enemy. Striker/gunslinger/voidwalker....timed event where you need to kill a ton of guys(exceptionally fast)0 to get past...
-
Sounds like a job for Hard Mode.
-
but then how would i solo things for the ultimate challenge?
-
Edited by premo253: 3/30/2015 2:20:29 AMI doubt they would ever do this (or should) because of how limiting it would be. That said, I would love it. It would be a blast. Making it like a key to where each class and each subclass can unlock X etc. would truly bring a new aspect to the game.
-
I just want a raid that isn't broke as shit. One where of the team works together, it can be done. I don't want one where the team can do everything exactly right and still get screwed over by crap glitches.
-
The classes all do nearly the same thing, don't even know why they bothered calling them different in the first place.
-
I think Thad be awesome, but it'd make finding a team really hard
-
A strike? They would have to force a hunter, titan and warlock. Also, how would subclasses work?

Edited by koolaidman565: 3/30/2015 1:44:56 AMWe need one that can't be soloed
