Its more the fault of the Publisher, Actvi$ion. I could bet that Bungie, as Developer, isnt happy about it what they did With Destiny.
-
Edited by Chickenbaccaa: 3/30/2015 2:36:18 PMBungie is straight -blam!-ing ass. Their fans are -blam!-ing garbage too.
-
Not the worst... but Bungie is: - Most over-hyped developer. - Most likely to quote a statistic saying the Destiny players aren't playing Destiny properly - Considers fixes added content (will continue later)
-
Treyarch, are far worse than BUNGIE.
-
Nah, there are worse.
-
Edited by Hetchi: 3/30/2015 5:15:14 PM
..
No. Activision is. EDIT: Add Ubisoft to that list.
-
Ubisoft holds that title for supposed triple-A developers. EA sports is clearly at the top of that list as well. Bungie is light years ahead of them. Go play another game. Stop posting idiotic threads.
-
Could you make a game in as high detail as Bungie did? What's that? No? Then shut the f**k up and let the pros do their job.
-
Bungies reputation is trashed at present.
-
Bungie isn't a bad developer, just way to careless. They got into bed with a company known to screw people. They didn't do their homework before trying to blend 3 or more game genres, and they don't admit their mistakes(though that could have something to do with their contract with Activision).
-
Well the fact that they can never meet their doc content release deadlines kinda shows how pathetic they can be
-
There are worse developers.
In the first study, Duke University researchers gave male rhesus monkeys opportunities to play simple games. The monkeys quickly learned that the succeeding in the game allowed them to earn rewards, and they spent increasing amounts of time at the game tasks. Even when the rewards were decreased and eliminated, the monkeys demonstrated consistently that they preferred the risky behavior over sure-fire rewards that were given to them without any required effort. In the second study, University of Rochester researchers determined that monkeys apply the hot hand theory – the idea that random events can be manipulated by certain behaviors – to their gaming activities. The monkeys were given multiple opportunities to play games for prizes, sometimes with random results and sometimes with certain results. Over and over, the monkeys looked for strategies that would allow them to play the riskier games, even when they showed that they understood that the results were less certain than other types of play. The findings have significant implications for the casino industry as well as for mental health professionals.
http://casinoimages.net/

Dude... EA had that locked down for two years. Dunno about Bungie taking that title. You might wanna think on that. ;o)
-
Activision Bungie = Worst developer ever. Microsoft Bungie = Decent up until Halo: Reach ....
-
Worst? That's a bit extreme... To those trying to blame it all on Activi$ion, they blow but so does Bungie compared to the old Bungie (staff)
-
But yet none of you can stop talking about them. .....
-
Edited by ZIPPY G00SE: 3/30/2015 7:39:44 AMI blame activi$ion I don't know much about the games production but I reckon that they're pressuring Bungie into releasing the games on strict deadlines which results in a lot of bugs/missing features ect Bungie are great developers
-
Agree just because they don't help us. Especially with all people losing their items Using the app. They could easily fix that by just shutting the app transfer for now while they fix the problem and they should back track on what they lost and give it back to them doesn't have to be fully upgraded could be clean. Or they could do a roll back on their account I'm sure that's possible I used to code my own private game and I was able to do that by just restarting the server and fix the coding but idk to me they just don't care about the players.
-
Bungie got no clue what they're doing with pvp. It's all from bad to worse. They really killed every weapon in pvp. They don't know how to balance anything out. They're the worse.
-
Not by a long shot Activision isn't at fault here. They supplied the hype. Bungie delivered the product that was hyped. There have been FAR worse games than Destiny. Destiny is actually a good game; it's just not perfect which is something no game could ever be. Perfection does not exist.
-
EA is in close competition.
-
They could still bounce back, I hope.
-
Nah , -blam!- Activision
