It would be really awesome if there were legendaries outside of factions that can only be obtained through RNG. Back at E3 in 2013, you guys showcased a Legendary Duke handcannon as well as a legendary Viper pulse rifle and I can't understand why they didn't make it into the game. It would be widely appreciated if there were more legendary weapons to find and they would really give players a reason to want to farm strikes and missions. Personally, If I just completed a Nightfall/Heroic strike and saw that I found a legendary Jigoku or Shingen variant, I'd be pretty damned happy. Maybe these "special" legendaries could be rerolled by the gunsmith too? Would you guys like to see more variety among legendaries? Post your thoughts and weapon variant ideas below so Bungie can see!
