Is the Roc Strike a jerk?
I have done the Roc about 40 times and out of that I have gotten one legendary engram. Anyone else have complaints?
EDIT: I will update this ^^^^^ every weekend because school work. If I get an exotic I am going to do whatever you guys tell me to to punish myself

I got Monte Carlo yesterday from roc strike. My buddy today got Ghorn from Roc strike.

1 ReplyIf you want the best chance at exotics, do raids and nightfalls, ROC strikes are great for farming class specific mats, vanguard marks, strange coins, motes of light, and a few bounties, but very unreliable when it comes to legendary and exotic rewards. Everything in the game has a purpose, play to your advantage and don't be greedy by expecting a drop that is completely random and has a miniscule probability.

J-Rocs are only good for upgrade materials (plating, essence, and wire) If you want better drops do crucible, raids or nightfalls

3 RepliesI got the No Land Beyond last night. I know people hate this gun, but i like it. Hang in there.. this is the first exotic i've ever gotten that didn't involve a bounty or buying it, and it came from a ROC strike.

Saw the Monte Carlo given to a friend of mine then the next a 4th horseman to another friend both of which already had them and sharded them but yet those are the only 2 I don't have. The really bad thing is they rarely do them and I have been doing them a good bit.

It just takes time. I didn't get anything but ships for at least 150 if not 200 ROCs, but in the past two weeks I've received No Land Beyond, Monte Carlo, Plan C, Mida, and just this morning a purple chest engram that turned into the Titan Crest of Alpha Lupi. Plan C and Mida dropped within 6 strikes of each other last week. Don't give up hope, the grind is real.

1 ReplyI have really good luck with legendary engrams but only received 1 exotic. Of course the engrams are usually shards or energy but i get at least one everytime i grind them.

Big rewards don't come very often during ROC Strikes. I used to grind them daily and I averaged 1 exotic per 100 strike completions and very few legendary engrams or rewards.

Ive got hawkmoon from roc and then two days later got suros from a roc strike.. :)

You must have some pretty bad luck. I've pulled several legendary weapons, ships and gear out of them. Not to mention a Monte Carlo, Plan C, and 4th horseman. Also seen two different people get Hawkmoon in back to back strikes one day. Not to mention the cryptarch packages. RNGesus, must hate you. Keep playing.

4 RepliesDone 70, just got a Suros Regime last night Also had an emotional rollercoaster a couple of weeks back. Legendary engram - Wahey! It's decrypted to exotic - YESSSSSS! It's No Land Beyond........oh.

I got a Suros Regime and I never had it before. But look at YouTube videos showing Roc rewards. You need to be doing a lot more than 20 to get exotics to drop for you.
