How do you get the crux of crota
I have been playing the Crota hard raid for a long time and I have no idea how the crux drops. So I am wondering, do you have to play the full hard raid to get it or if you just need to kill Crota on the Crota checkpoint?

In order to increase your odds for the Crux, you need to have beaten hard mode and received the glowhoo shader, the Crux will go in that slot. And you have to do Hard Mode, doing Hard only gives you the drop for Normal and the drop for Hard, essentially rolling you twice for items. And then just beat Crota, if you have more than one character, I have 3, it will increase you chance at it, but it is random and not guaranteed
